We're at 102 here in Texas. Doesn't matter too much since I don't really leave the house unless it is 100% absolutely necessary. I hate Summer and heat. I have to say since starting the little alphabet book, I am feeling less stressed. It's still there to be sure but less. While I love watching you, I don't do the more traditional glue books with magazines and such. I typically use kids book pages and other random things. Like your random glue book I could never do. I need a bit more structure to keep my sanity. Or it has to tell a story. We're all made different, and that is how it should be! Anyway, thank you!!
I am new to glue booking but loving it. It was 103 her today. Our ac took a dump when it was 109. Was not fun. Got it replaced and that next weekend it was 117 . Holy smolly! I love the head on top of the wine bottle! Ok now I’m in the mood to work in my glue book again. I will this weekend

Several women in my family have it and I think of it as the invisible disease. I hear people say to my loved ones, “but you look just fine!” Arggg! I just do my best to do what I can, rest when I need too, and I try to not focus on the negative aspects of the illness.

I absolutely love Betty White. Dorothy is my favourite Golden Girl, but Rose is probably my second favourite. I'm oddly a mix of both of them... I'm not sure what the weather is today but it got really hot compared to last week, in Indiana. Lots of storms.

Bob is finally after decades of issues, hospital stays, specialists, etc, is finally feeling like a normal human since his surgeries last year. I have fibro and RA and I m very sensitive to the sun and heat so in the summer I m inside most all the time. We even had to post pone our wedding Anniversary night out because it was over 100 degree and I couldn't tolerate the heat. I totally get it
I'm exactly the same way...it's such a bummer. It's like having a "snow day" but in summer. It's not worth getting sick by doing things in that kind of heat.

People, myself included, use lots of different types of books and papers to make a glue book. Something as simple as a spiral notebook, sketchbook, or composition notebook work well. Anything goes! I'm not always jolly, that's for sure, but I do try really hard not to focus on the pain, and the bad stuff. It already consumes my life enough as it is, so I try to not let it mess with my happiness as much as I can
Great question! Any size works, I have a ton of glue books, and each are different sizes. No rules, just use what you have on hand, or like best. A lot of people, myself included, love using composition notebooks to glue in because they are inexpensive.
The sun sucks. My recent Vitamin D deficiency discovery is a testament to that. Australia is currently in winter (it's cold for about 5 days then the bloody sun is back). I get really jealous when you guys over there start posting about your 'fall' being around the corner. Chants about pumpkin spice lattes and getting cosy. Starting to see swimsuits in the shops now and I'm already dreading the sun and heat!
I'm with you! Not a huge fan of the sun and heat. I get sick from it, and being over heated is not a good feeling. Fall is right around the corner for us, and I can't wait!! It's my favorite season of all time!
