Drone Flight - YORK HOUSE DEMOLITION

Drone flight around York House - Thorpe Edge - Ecclehill - Demolition - 14-08-2024. Of interest to me because my mum & dad + myself as a young boy - were the first tenants of No. 53 back in 1957. Modern living back then - slums for the last 30+ years. What makes a slum? Poor Landlords (Councils), and a minority of tenants who simply don't give a damn and make it tough on everyone else. We left York House in 1963. All my memories of the place are fond and happy ones and of many of our neighbours & friends. We're soon to see a view that hasn't been seen in nearly 70 years.

What is planned for the site now? More cheap housing for newly arrived "immigrants" ? Or something else?
