- Many of you have asked to see a closer look inside the machine, and have asked about different aspects of it, so I thought I'd make a video covering some of those things as well as showing you more PnPing footage of my latest revision ProS3 (ESP32-S3 board).
Plus I just installed my first custom mod to the machine, so I cover that as well :)

So cool to finally see your line fully in action with a proper PnP.
With all that awesome automation.......I expect you have a deck chair, a wee table and a beer sitting nearby?
Haha. Not a bad idea!
He's got to have a "relaxing chair" at the least.
Thanks again for taking the time to show us, it nice to see you are still pushing the boundaries, maybe you could in the future produce 3rd party boards, based on components aleady in your cassettes, submissions would have to follow the design of your panelised boards, then at least it would be no different to making your own boards. Anyway its nice to see what is possible, thanks for sharing!
You never know what the future will bring, right? For now I'm happy just making y own boards, or my clients boards.
Yay more Juki content as it's super exciting and happy to see the modifications turned out well post Live Stream. Great work 👍👍👍🎉
That is an awesome setup! 🎉❤
So freakin cool. Goals.
Great to see the line operational. Time to book in for a tour. 😀
You know you're welcome anytime !
"Looks like some sort of futuristic robot". That's because it is some sort of futuristic robot... 😄
I just received Rev P4 of your FeatherS3. I love watching how and where they are built. Thanks so much for sharing!!!!!
That is awesome! I'm happy for your success and hope you continue to be successful.
Great job.
Thanks for showing us this. Very interesting indeed.
It's true!, someone from Neoden is watching ... a downvote on the video; cause no REAL engineer or maker watching this will downvote this video!
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for another great video, I think Juki should look to this video about fitting the Trays inside I have 4 juki machines and I would love to have that on my next machines.
Very impressive !
What a beast!
Great improvement!
Thanks mate :)
We have 2 line of these model in our facilities.Good machine
I predict in 6 months you will be talking about a second pnp line. I am been browsing your boards on mouser for use in one of my new products this fall. Well done Seon.
Yeah, nah - One line is enough for me. No desire for more spending on equipment, and no desire to move into a 2-3x bigger place.
More likely in 6 months I'll be out of business and I'll be selling all of this!
I love the ProS3! Plugs into a standard 40 pin DIP socket
Nice setup. I have the same oven with a neoden 4 P&P, and I realise now how under utilised the IN12 is :)
Does the RS-1R have an administrator/operator mode? On my older Jukis it has a key/switch, and if I rotate the key in normal operator mode (aka production mode) the machine will increase its speed even more. I had mine in admin mode for a while until I realized.
Also very very interesting, how many things Juki kept the same from the 1990s until now. Rails, nozzle changing(ATC), naming conventions in software, laser alignment, feeder bank sensors, etc etc. Even the trick of putting the trays in the middle seems to have been always allowed (even though you took it to an extreme with a full blown tray bank ;)
It does have that key switch - I wasn't aware that there was a speed different in each mode. I'll have to try that out.
Yeah, I assume a lot is the same... why change things if they work great?
Oh wow, a long way from a 'Hot Wheels' timer for your Boy ! that's where I kinda jumped in....cheers.
Flynn still bugs me sometimes about finishing that project ! I'm a bad dad!
@@UnexpectedMaker Oh Seon ! you should finish it !
There are lots of things I should finish! It's a very long list!
it's been a long road for you. I remember your first pick and place.vids
same here
Long road for sure - feels quick though!
@@UnexpectedMaker yep lol
It's amazing how long it's auctully been tbh
I would like a video discussing your SMT line upgrades and why... Was the Neoden bad or just too slow?
I've got one complaint Mr Fancy Pants. All your machines need UM branding stickers. Get some custom ones made, like the magnet ones for cars. Haven't you seen any Jimmy Diresta videos? That guy brands everything. Otherwise, loved every minute! Thanks for the closer look.
Hahaha, I'm not quite as vain as J.D - But maybe I'll get something made up!
@@UnexpectedMaker understand, the magnetic stickers will come off, whereas JD's stencil spray painted ones are more permanent.
100% NOT spray painting the Juki ;)
@@UnexpectedMaker yeah, no kidding.
Unexpected manufacturer.
Please, make a video of the settings of this machine for working with pallets. Thanks
Congratulations! You are turning out to have a nice setup for your business. How wide can your panels be when your custom tray feeders are installed?
I've not measured, but where you see the rails in the video is my widest panel I have - and I don't want to use wide panels as they'll bow in the reflow oven, so narrower is better for my production needs.
the standard machine doesn't come with recognition cameras, except the laser
I was wondering if the camera option is necessary or kind of gimmicky
What is the maximum board dimensions you can run through the machine?
What did all of this cost?
Can you lell me something about the reflowoven?
It's a Neoden IN12C oven. You can get more details about it on their website.
Why did You sold the Neoden K1830?
Because I needed a reliable, stable and capable PnP machine.
@@UnexpectedMaker Thank You, did you made a video about the decision to drop the Neoden, like with the Charmhight (the problems)
can you explain a little more about the weaknesses of Neoden pls, I'm in discussion to buy Neoden
right now i have ZHENGBANG ZB3245TSS I don't have problems but is slow just 2 nozzle, many limitation... you know... @@UnexpectedMaker
