Here is what I want you to know. I started knitting at age 7 with my grandma. I learned to crochet over lockdown as I wanted to add variety. I have only recently picked up my knitting needles again due to you. You are the fresh face of knitting to me. I am so over those perfectly presented knitting podcasts. I do love yours however. You have inspired me to try garment knitting and have also turned me onto the most beautiful indie dyed yarns. Thank you so much for all of that and please know you matter. To me anyways. 💕
Hi Megha! I just want you to know that you are valued and appreciated! 💕💕💕 I truly enjoy your podcasts and marvel at your talents. What I love is your helpful comments about the FOs and WIPs. You are helping me become a better knitter and I am grateful for that. Thank you for taking the time to share your love of knitting with us. Take good care! 🤗
I will miss your positive energy and enthusiasm IF you stop podcasting. You introduce us to soooo many patterns in the course of each podcast. You're and inspiration.
I really love your knitting “soul searching” moments. They might be what you call rambling, but they are actually really about what this “making” caper is to me. Yes, I love yarn, yes I love knitting. But it’s a vehicle for the out-working of my mind, my life force, my patterns, so I can see them in fresh ways and maybe come to be with them in fresh ways. Right now, it’s the human experience of comparison that comes to the fore for you. There is so much self-learning in that for me as I witness you. The same with the witnessing of you, and myself, in knowing we plan to make things as if we had all day to do it, yet our lives don’t match that, yet we still keep acting according to our most shiny and beautiful “what ifs”. And your words about test knitting reflect my own experience this year except I was even worse, I got emotionally paralysed with stuff going on in my life and was too frozen/ashamed to contact the designer! I am working on the project again, but I think your idea of buying the pattern will be a way of starting to make amends and build my dignity back. All that to say, it’s the aspects of your podcast that maybe come from your not knowing what you are doing with it, that touch me most greatly.
Oh my! Your comment has me in tears ❤️ Thank you so so much for such wonderful words of support! I agree… making is so much more than just churning out a new project! The whole process is changing us as people… Thank you so so much ❤️
Appreciate your openess and really enjoy listening to your knitting plans and dreams. I have stopped following some podcasters I used to enjoy because their focus moved from sharing to “ selling”, or going on at length about their designs. So.. I am actually pleased that you aren’t moving in that direction. Just be your sweet authentic self and do what brings you joy and We will be happy to share that joy with you!
Your podcast is one of my favourites, I love your giggle and your sense of humour. You have to do what you know is best for you. I had Covid in April. It is a serious sickness and it takes a fair bit of time to get over, be patient with yourself. Know that your knitting content and yarn choices are very beautiful and inspiring to others. Take very good care.
Magazine, you are obviously a talented, bright and sensitive woman. Thank you for all that you share about knitting and all of the other wonderful things you have to offer. I’m sure the last 2 and a half years have been long and stressful having been away from your families. I bet you are a wonderful partner, family member and friend. I’m so grateful to have stumbled into knitting and found all of the amazing knitting community members! Until the the next video, I wish you health and happiness💗
Hi Megha. I find your honesty and rambling so relaxing. You are my weekend relaxation. You are so real and you are doing what you love, it comes through in your voice and your smile and your laugh. Keep doing what you love. I learn so much from you and the things you make and the process you go through. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am so glad you are in the mend. ❤️
Spending time knitting with you is a highlight of my weekends. It looks as though it brings you joy, and isn’t that what it should be about? If it is not, then I hope you find what will and you peruse it. Your knitting is so diverse and inspiring, but your personality is such fun to listen to. I am glad you both have recovered, and wish you well!
I love your podcast but you should only put them out if you are enjoying the process. You are such a prolific knitter and have a variety of projects that it’s a pleasure to watch you. You have such a sunny personality you always cheer me up. I hope you will continue x
I like your pc because of you . You make me laugh and want to make all the things! You are doing just fine . You are genuine and honest about your knitting journey and I like that!
Thank you for your honest ‘rambles’. I love how you’re transparent enough to share slices of life with us. I love your knitting content but I also enjoy your travels (and cats). I like to look forward to podcasts, but it’s also fun to be surprised with a heartfelt episode after a podcaster had taken a break. Please find the joy in it, whatever you decide to share. 🤗
Lovely Megha. I stuck around to the very end (as I always do) and I just want to say that I love your podcast just as it is. You are authentic and it shines through. That is why I want to watch you. No one else can do what you do. And remember, comparison is the thief of joy.
Hi Megha, pleased to hear you are feeling better after covid. I’m really pleased to hear you have accomplished what you set out to with podcasting and have found the community you were after. I really enjoy your podcast hearing about your makes and future plans and your thoughts on knitting
hi, i just wanted to share that I love your videos as they remind us acceptance is key. i love all your knitting and you inspire me with your colour choices for knitting. thank you for taking the time to share with us.
Megha, I enjoy your informal and relaxed style of podcasting. You - and all of us - should never compare ourselves or our knitting to others!! Enjoyment of this hobby is the most important thing! ❤️
As always, so proud of you, Dear Megha. But this time by the end of the episode, I have huge respect for you. For your thought process for the podcast and sharing with usvin all honesty. And I am happy to hear what you said. Yes, this is no race and so this as long as you enjoy it .More power to you, my dear 🥰🤗
Welcome back and so glad that you and Mr. Skeins of Dreams are much better. 💜 Your Half & Half turned out great and now I'm considering knitting one. But, then I also want to start a couple of sweaters and finish some of the many projects I am already working on. I think we all probably all need a few more hours in our day! 🤣 Keep being you, please. We love your projects and that, like many of us, you can't resist the next shiny thing. Personally, I love seeing stash acquisitions. I can be happy for others and find inspiration for later projects. So, if you're still having fun, please keep the podcasts coming. We are having fun too! 🙋🏾♀💜
Always nice to sit and knit for a bit with you. I feel similar with the video making, it has to be because you want to do it, have something to say that you want to talk about, and you enjoy the process. The clips of the greenhouse at the end were beautiful!
I can’t remember how I found your podcast, but I think Rebecca mentioned you as she was talking about your gift exchange. I am so glad to have discovered you; you are refreshing, honest and talented. I love your Grapefruit Pink Lady and Cargill. Whatever you decide for future podcasts, I will be there with you, and please don’t feel that you have to compare yourself to other podcasters. Each of you are unique and offer different glimpses into the knitting, sewing, crafting world. One of these days, I am going to Rhinebeck, but this year, I am going with some of my knitting friends here in North Carolina to the Southeastern Animal Fiber Festival at the end of October in the beautiful mountains near Asheville, North Carolina. We rented a house, and while I have not been before, I am so excited and have been told that it is, in terms of size, not near as big as Rhinebeck or Maryland Sheep and Wool, but worth the trip. Cheers! Dee❤️
Hi:) I’m glad you’re feeling better! I want to echo the sentiments of the other commenters who deeply appreciate and enjoy your “ramblings”. I spend so much time over-thinking and planning projects and patterns and yarns and colors!! Sharing in your journey through the same process is so relatable. Thank you for being so genuine and open with a world of fiber friends who love spending time with you! You are a unique and delightful part of my knitting podcast favorites!
Looking through the comments, I see a common thread - we all love your ramblings and the natural way you have in presenting your love of knitting and inviting us all in. But yes, it's a huge effort and time commitment for you - and a pressure to be "on." However you decide to go forward, I'm sure your viewers will follow and appreciate. And oh, BTW, Big Love has been on my radar for a while - hope to hear about your version - but no pressure - haha!
Oh my dear, I can so relate to you... and that's one of the things I love about your podcast. I, too, love knitting and yarn and making, in general. I tried my hand at podcasting a few years ago and it became "work" for me. I underestimated how much time it would take me to get all my makes together and have all the details ready for presentation and all the acquisitions, then recording (sometimes twice... sigh) and the editing. It's a lot of work. But know that your hard work IS noticed, acknowledged, and sincerely appreciated! Your enthusiasm for the craft is infectious and I love to watch your JOY about this craft that I also love so much. I hope you're able to strike balance for yourself. Keep doing it as long as it's fun and enjoyable. You've created great community and I hope that you're still enjoying that. I'd hate to see you go away for good so I'd rather see you reduce the frequency to a manageable level just so I can still see you! 🙂 Selfish of me, I know. But truly, I do want you happy and enjoying your knitting above all else, so take care of yourself. I do hope you reconsider after you're 100% recovered from COVID since your illness may also be playing a role in these thoughts right now. Get well and God Bless!
Hi Megha - I'm sorry to hear that you & Baljeet contracted covid. Especially when you were so careful. That sucks. Sometimes there's a silver lining in these things, & maybe for you it has given you a chance to ask what you want for your life. I have thoroughly enjoyed your podcast. But I imagine that it has been a significant time commitment for you. Especially to produce one every two weeks. If you went away & there was never another episode, I would be happy for you knowing that you chose to spend time live & in person with those close to you. So, personally, I support your idea to post when you feel like. Thank you for another enjoyable episode. Be Well, & Happy Knitting!
Glad you are feeling better. I am chuckling as I picture a cartoon Megha with a foggy cloud COVID brain with ten arms with each hand holding a different yarn and colour, sitting in a fluffy pile of projects with Mr. Skein of Dreams running off with your favourite project and waving it in front of your cats! Lol! As always, your projects are amazing! Keep on showing us all your stuff and ramble on! 🤗 💕
That rainbow fade it beautiful! You could make yourself a lovely shawl and keep some leftovers to make yourself another lovely item, like a seaglass tee or something like that which utilises a lot of colours
Megha ,love you as you are. Gorgeos half.....and your Tee. Sorry you and Mr got Covid,. I got it a few months ago.,Sjept for 4 days and knit for the next 5. Had to isolate as one of girls works with patients and the other had exams. I loved it!! Never had so much non disturbance!!! Made a whole shawl
I’m glad you are feeling better and fully recovered! I had Covid in June. Not fun! The reason I watch your podcast is because I really love the projects you choose, and I love your enthusiasm for knitting. So if you decide to record mess episodes to feel that enthusiasm for podcasting and sharing, that works too! If it’s fun for you it’s fine for us. You are such a talented knitter and so inspiring by the projects you choose. I often want to make the things you are making because you have great taste. I love your ramblings and dreams of future knitting and I think that you do a fabulous job. I watch you because you are you. Don’t compare yourself to other podcasters because YOU are who we enjoy watching. Happy knitting! Also, I love love love. Having a granny stripe blanket on the go. I made one last year. It’s my favorite! And crocheted blankets work up fast! Your corner to corner is FABULOUS!
I love your podcasts, you are one of the few that I actually subscribe to. You are so natural and always fun. I love your projects and your plans for the future. I hope you continue but you should do what is best for you.
Thanks for your knitting update. Watching knitting / crochet podcasts makes me happy as it gives me ideas of things I can try to make. Your podcast is one of my favourites and I enjoy your style of podcast just the way it is.
Oh, I hope you continue podcasting, I enjoy your episodes very much. I'm always afraid that podcasters will feel too much pressure to have new knits everytime they podcast, and will eventually burn out. I'm sure most would agree that we don't want our podcasters to be overwhelmed with pressure. I'm sorry you've had covid...I'm sure it is maddening at first, to think you've made it thru the last 2.5yrs, then get it....I'm of the mind that most of us will have it before it goes away. Xo
Loved this episode, all the knitting and your thoughts at the end. I'm a newer Podcaster and I'm totally getting caught up in the numbers/metrics. I love knitting and watching podcasts and that's why I'm doing it...to be able to talk about my knitting and my love of it. Thanks for the honesty about comparing yourself to others and feeling "less". I have been finding the same thing. I think we need to try to embrace our own voice no matter who is watching. I'll look forward to your next episode whenever you want to share 🥰
Thanks for a fun episode. I got some inspiration from your possible blanket plans. As always looking forward to your next one, understand if they are less frequent or structured differently - it’s good to mix things up a bit.
Hi Megha, thank you so much for another lovely podcast - I'm really inspired by your beautiful fingering and mohair sweater - the green and the pink are gorgeous together. I think I'm going to have to make one!!
I am also a continental knitter, coming from a long history of crocheting. My hands were also hurting when using very small needles for knitting socks. The solution I found is trying Portuguese style knitting, which is very easy for purling and much easier on my hands/wrists.
I always enjoy your episodes! I love the rambly parts - you’re just being you. Your striped sweater is so beautiful on you! And, wow, the Half & Half wrap turned out a really great size, it looks so comfy! I’m glad you’re feeling better, hope you continue good recovery.
Hi Megha! I love your striped sweater-those colors are amazing 😻 as far as future plans, your podcast is so lovely but you have to do what feels right for you. Glad you are on the mend and can’t wait to see your finished grapefruit pink lady!
I’m glad you and your husband are feeling better my husband and I have the Covid now so I can empathize with you I love your videos and I always look forward to watching them ❤️
I feel exactly the same with test knitting. I keep thinking of the deadline and then am distracted by wanting to knit on something else.. then it's a mad dash to finish the test knit. All of your projects are sooo pretty! the Gaja Cardigan is absolutely lovely. Looking forward to your next Episode. Just love all the project inspiration you give out.🥰🧶
Hi Megha, glad to hear that you are feeling better. Me and my family got covid in June and it was horrible. It takes time to recover . The fatigue and ‘brain fog’ take time to recover from. Take it slow. You can do a sit and knit podcast or maybe a q&a episode or reduce the frequency of the podcasts.
It seems like we must have some of the same genes. My mind rebels as soon as I “have” to do something. Even if it’s something I love. Our community is very diverse, but at the end of the day, we are much the same.
I laughed to myself when you casually mentioned a sweater for hubby. I thought, "Uh, oh. Here we go again. Putting hubby's sweater just barely on the To-Do list! 😊 I'm glad you mentioning the Vermont festival. I'll be vacationing in New Hampshire that weekend and a side trip is a real possibility so maybe I'll see you there. Also I appreciated your self-reflection about your podcast, about keeping it authentically you. Thanks, Megha.
Your Half and Half Triangles Wrap is lovely. I am knitting my first in Linen Quill colors Peach Stone and Bright Flamingo in the bigger size, and on my screen your Linen Quill colors look very similar to mine. A couple of years ago I purchased enough Linen Quill to make a few more wraps, but they will be knitted in a smaller size. Very nice yarn that becomes even more beautiful once you start knitting with it.
Hi Megha, it's good to see you whenever you feel like putting up an episode. Yours is one of the better knitting podcasts out there so (selfishly) I hope you stick around! I'm glad you're feeling better.
I’m always happy to sit and enjoy your podcast. I’m so slow but enjoy the process. I am always thinking ahead to what I want to do. But I am mostly a one at a time project knitter. Or I would never finish anything. Your project’s are always lovely and inspiring. There are lots of podcasters that do every three weeks or even four. Do what makes you happy. I’ll be watching when you decide to post.
I so enjoy your podcasts and love the insight you give into other patterns. I’m with you in that I can never knit it all. I appreciate that you want to do something that is meaningful for you as well. Not all podcasts need to follow the same formula. They become quite boring if they are done in a mechanical way. It is wonderful that you seek to improve and reflect on what’s best like you have around test knitting. You offer so much to the knitting community and it is appreciated.
No pressure, my dear Megha!! You are such a lovely and positive person and your Podcast is wonderfull just like it is! I´m always looking forward to your videos. Stay as you are and do what feels right for you!
I’m so sorry you got sick!! But glad you’re feeling better!! I can’t believe you finished those projects and made such a big dent in the grapefruit pink lady. So gorgeous! I’m knitting another Anker blouse with Line to use up the scraps from my first one (I def ordered too much yarn). I love line so much. And the pattern you’re using and I need one asap! I love to see all the colors and combinations you come up with. They’re definitely not ones I would choose and then I see how yours come out and I’m totally blown away. So beautiful! Since I don’t have knitting friends IRL I would def miss you and all the inspiration you give me. But if you’re feeling stressed or podcasting isn’t something you want to do or you just need to take a break from it I definitely support you. But will honestly miss you!! But you’re right this shouldn’t be a chore or something that upsets you. Whatever makes you happy is the best thing. But maybe wait to make a final decision once you finish test knitting and have fully recovered from Covid. I was out of work for 3 weeks when I caught it and was still having symptoms and feeling like trash for another 4. Just give yourself some time. Feel better and happy knitting!!
@@skeinsofdreamsknits it definitely does! And it’s different for everyone. I remember knitting the Humlebe shawl while I had Covid and having to rip back garter stitch patterns like 12 times because I swore I was counting wrong. I wasn’t. Knitting definitely wasn’t my friend then. I’m amaEd you did so much while sick! Knitting is partly self care. Allow yourself to enjoy it and don’t feel too pressured. ❤️❤️
Hi Megha! Lovely to see you again. I’m sorry to hear you guys had Covid! Happy you’re recovering. I really enjoy your podcast because you seem like a really nice and regular person. I can relate to you and the thoughts that you share. I do not enjoy the podcasts that feel very produced or feel like the person wants to be a “famous” knitting podcaster at all. I will still be here for whatever you feel like sharing and if you’re not feeling it and post less frequently, that’s what works for you. Also, I’m planning to go to Vermont Sheep and Wool. Maybe I’ll see you there! Take care, Erika
I always appreciate and enjoy your podcast no matter how frequently you record. Follow your heart and do what feels best for you. It’s fun that you are going to the Vermont Sheep and Wool festival, I have gone once and really enjoyed it. Definitely a possibility for me this year since I can just drive up for the day.
I always look forward to your podcast. I enjoy your knitting creations and your informal style that makes me feel like I am visiting a friend who is an amazing knitter. You have a sweet personality that is joyful and down to earth. I am glad that you and Mr. SkeinsofDreams are better now. Hugs from Oregon from your knitting and spinning friend.
Hi Megha! So glad you are feeling better! Your podcast is one of my faves and the first one I watch as soon as I see it available! I love your honest opinions about patterns and yarns and your aesthetic is similar to mine. I hope you keep podcasting!
You are such a joy to listen to. I settle in and just relax. So sorry about Covid, as I too recently went through it and it’s no fun. After over 2 years who would have thought we would still get it 😔. Glad it’s over for us for now. I agree with you when the joy of knitting becomes a chore it’s time to check in with ourselves and narrow it down. I love the time you give to us, yet it’s your time and it’s precious. Hope you feel better each day but don’t be surprised by the lasting fatigue. Rest ❤️
Always lovely catching up with you Megha 🥰 Your projects are all so inspiring and now I honestly want to cast on a billion more things! I especially love your Gaja Cardigan, and Cargill and the colour you've chosen for yout Pink Grapefruit Lady is just perfection 😍 I can very much relate to your contemplation about your channel's future. Unfortunately I feel like TH-cam is set up to drive competition between channels as it encourages us to constantly strive for more (e.g. more subscribers, more views etc.) in order to achieve "success". But to me, success is achieving the goals we set for ourselves when starting these ventures. For myself, that was to establish a sense of community and share my passion for knitting as well as to face my fear of public speaking. In that sense, I feel like I've been successful, despite what any of the metrics say. By the same token, it sounds to me, from the intentions you've listed, like your channel is a complete success! Stay true to you and keep doing what you love, whenever YOU feel like it 🤗💕
Hello Megha, I have really enjoyed your podcast over the past year and I always look forward to knitting and watching. Whatever you reflect on and decide or not, is wonderful. Your knitting makes and future plans are always interesting! Thank you.
Not weird, a pleasure, as usual. All your work is so inspiring. I’m doing the Across the Pond KAL as well. I’ve hit a few snags, but am still hopeful. Good luck with yours. I just finished. My first 1/2 Wrap, too. I have to weave in my ends and block yet, but the knitting is finally complete. I loved working on it and loved the yarn. Trying to decide if I want to start another right away. Definitely want to do another at some point... still thinking.
Hi glad you're feeling better and back to sharing your knitting journey with us. I would say that you should absolutely use your rainbow set for the habitations throw! While tagging it Megha only is an option, teaching the cats to read that tag let alone honor it might be hard. So make it for your beautiful yarn room!
Hi Megha! Thankyou for a lovely time with you - I like your rambling, it's really good knitting time! Plus, hearing your thoughts can be much more fun/rewarding/touching than just the regular knitting podcast... Sometimes I forget to listen to you because it's very calming to knit with you, but then I just start over the next day, I really don't mind watching and hearing you and projects more than once🌞🙏 Oh, and speaking of projects: you might want to consider the Sandnes Line to grow quite a bit! Both ways I think. Alot of the Scandinavian podcasters I've seen knitting in this yarn tells us to be aware, that IT WILL GROW, some times a whole lot. Just wanted to say it if you're not looking for a very boxy/kind of long garment😜 I'm qurrently working on a fitted top/bra thing in the Sandnes Tynn Line, and I think I sized maybe even 2 sizes from what I normalt would choose... Will see how it works😉 All my best wishes, from Denmark🌹
It’s only normal to reflect especially since it’s been a year of podcasting…your podcast is one of my favorites. It is always filled with inspiration and just so nice to listen to you!
Your podcast made me pick back up the Purl Soho Bear's Blanket. I would never have done so without you. You inspire me every time you post. Maybe you don't have to post so often and I totally understand your thinking about the future of your channel. Some people have been podcasting for 10 years!!! TH-cam has lots of room for all types of podcasters.
Hi Megha, I love your striped tee! It looks great on you and I love the colors. I really want to try combining a fingering weight and mohair like that. :) It's really interesting to hear you process your thoughts about podcasting - I can relate to that. I started a podcast (one of millions, haha!) after I had my third baby and stopped working. It was definitely for a mix of reasons. Partly, because it looked really fun and I was intrigued by the creativity of putting one together. Partly, to get more involved in the general knitting community and hopefully make some friends. Partly, to give some milestones and a rough schedule to my stay-at-home-mom-life. And selfishly, to see if it would help generate a little bit of money to buy more yarn! lol I think I started out feeling rather ambitious about it and tried to figure out how to monetize, but now that I see that doing that is rather unlikely, I've also started rethinking my podcast. I've come to realize that I'm actually okay staying small and I just really enjoy making videos and commenting back and forth with people. That surprised me and helped me feel more genuine about moving forward. Out of curiosity, did you do anything more than leave comments to form friendships on youtube/social media? An out of touch millennial wants to know ;) I hope you feel all the way better soon! - Kerry
I agree with you Kerry! It’s a lot of work to do all the monetizing and what not! I didn’t do anything too special to form the community, I reached out to a few podcasters on instagram as well. I actually was on Instagram for a long time before I started the podcast, so many of my friends saw my videos and shared about it. Thank you so much for watching!
Its always good to have introspective moments but maybe be guided by your passion if its fun and you enjoy sharing keep doing it and if its not then stop.. you could also try turning off your metrics and only checking them once every quarter or so if the numbers and metrics are starting to take to much brain space. I love your podcast so once you're happy to share I'm happy to watch
TH-cam will be a much sadder place if your podcast goes on holiday. That being said - do what makes You happy. Perhaps taking a break will refresh you and make your videos better. You do You. No one else can 😉
Glad you’re feeling better! If you like the habitation throw you might want to look at A Baby Blanket for Frances by Camilla (camijoknit). I test knit that a few years ago and it’s really cute!
I love the mohair striped top! I have a few mohair and fingering pairs to use like this so I'd love to try it too. I just got Ann Budd's top down sweaters book so maybe a good chance to try this out!
I just feel like once you have a “commitment” knitting becomes “work” and not just an enjoyable hobby! So knit for your own pleasure! You are so awesome?
I so enjoy your rambling! I am relieved that both of you recovered from COVID< nasty stuff that! I have been knitting a bit, but I am an advanced crocheter, so I have projects to complete while relearning my knit stitches. I cannot seem to find a knitting needle that I like... what do you use?
I think its good for you to keep the podcast and work on your tendency to be competitive. sometimes its good to make ourselves uncomfortable and work against our natural tendencies... to me, that discomfort is growth. and.... i love your content and your chatter.
Dearest Jean, thank you from the bottom of my heart! You made my day, week and month ❤️ I truly appreciate your support and encouragement ❤️
I agree with you about the perfectly presented podcasts!

Oh my! Your comment has me in tears ❤️ Thank you so so much for such wonderful words of support! I agree… making is so much more than just churning out a new project! The whole process is changing us as people… Thank you so so much ❤️

I like your rambling 😀 You know, it’s really nice to listen to a fellow immigrant who happen to love knitting too ❤️
Magazine, you are obviously a talented, bright and sensitive woman.
Thank you so much Sarah
Thank you so much Jennifer ❤️
I just would like you to continue what you have done until now. or just sit there and talk, I could listen to you all day 😍
Spending time knitting with you is a highlight of my weekends.
Hi Megha, you are such an inspiration and you are fast becoming one of my favourites.
Lovely Megha. I stuck around to the very end (as I always do) and I just want to say that I love your podcast just as it is. You are authentic and it shines through. That is why I want to watch you. No one else can do what you do. And remember, comparison is the thief of joy.
Thank you so much Colleen 😊
Hi Megha, pleased to hear you are feeling better after covid. I’m really pleased to hear you have accomplished what you set out to with podcasting and have found the community you were after. I really enjoy your podcast hearing about your makes and future plans and your thoughts on knitting
Just be yourself! You are charming and love knitting!
hi, i just wanted to share that I love your videos as they remind us acceptance is key. i love all your knitting and you inspire me with your colour choices for knitting. thank you for taking the time to share with us.
Sorry you were sick, but glad you are well again. Good to see you again.
Thank you so much aunty ❤️❤️
Oh your podcast is lovely. Please dont compare. Lovely knitting plans which i love to hear
Always nice to sit and knit for a bit with you. I feel similar with the video making, it has to be because you want to do it, have something to say that you want to talk about, and you enjoy the process. The clips of the greenhouse at the end were beautiful!
Always so lovely to see you Megha. I am sorry the yarn is taking so long.....
No worries Camilla! It’s definitely the US customs… I am sure it will get here soon!
Cheers! Dee❤️
Asheville is so beautiful! I am sure you will have a great time with friends! I want to go to the Maryland sheep and wool next year
Hi:) I’m glad you’re feeling better!
Thank you Ellen ❤️ I am pretty decided on the cardigan! I just want to make sure the gauge works out ☺️
Oh my dear, I can so relate to you... and that's one of the things I love about your podcast.
Thank you so much Heidi ❤️
You are so sweet! I really enjoy your podcasts and you are always so cheerful!! Keep it up!! Hugs! ❤️
Hahahah that is so funny🤣🤣🤣 thank you for putting this image in my head hahaha I do need the ten hands though 🤣
You such an inspiration Megha thank you 😊 I enjoy every episodes and love to see all the projects you make 😍
Very enjoyable episode. You have a very pleasant voice.
Thank you for another lovely video Megha! Never stop!
❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much Nancy 😊
I love your dress, and your striped sweater. I think a little puckering is very flattering! It looks great
You look beautiful in the dress you made. Thanks for another great episode and for taking the time to share with all of us ❤
You did a beautiful job on that dress! You looked lovely. ❤🧡💛💚💙
Hi Megha! Here comes a big hug! Close your eyes. Do you feel it? ❤ Thank you for sharing your knitting dreams. Your podcast is delightful!
Thank you so so much Venessa ❤️❤️
Thanks for a fun episode. I got some inspiration from your possible blanket plans. As always looking forward to your next one, understand if they are less frequent or structured differently - it’s good to mix things up a bit.
Just be yourself...happy, sweet and funny.😄
Hi Megha, thank you so much for another lovely podcast - I'm really inspired by your beautiful fingering and mohair sweater - the green and the pink are gorgeous together. I think I'm going to have to make one!!
I am also a continental knitter, coming from a long history of crocheting. My hands were also hurting when using very small needles for knitting socks. The solution I found is trying Portuguese style knitting, which is very easy for purling and much easier on my hands/wrists.
I have been wanting to try that for a while
I always enjoy your episodes!
I’m glad you and your husband are feeling better my husband and I have the Covid now so I can empathize with you I love your videos and I always look forward to watching them ❤️
Oh no!! Hope you feel better soon!
Just love all the project inspiration you give out.🥰🧶
Thank you so much Sophie ❤️
Hahaha whatever happens, I am always planning a sweater for him 🤣
Your Half and Half Triangles Wrap is lovely.
@@vivianpowell1732 thank you! I really enjoy using both my half n half wraps as throws on the couch! The yarn is definitely beautiful!
Hi Megha, it's good to see you whenever you feel like putting up an episode. Yours is one of the better knitting podcasts out there so (selfishly) I hope you stick around! I'm glad you're feeling better.
Hello, there may be lots of other knitting podcasts but you are one of my favourites. As they say, keep on keeping on. Thanks.
You are so right about covid! It lingers!!! I never expected this at all… Thank you so much for your kind words! I really appreciate the support ❤️
Thank you for another fun podcast…so glad you guys are feeling better.
Dear Erika, I would love to say hi at the festival!! Thank you so much for watching 😊😊
Aw! Thrilled that you're coming to Vermont Sheep and Wool! Please let me know if you need any Vermont recommendations at all :)
Lovely projects
I always appreciate and enjoy your podcast no matter how frequently you record. Follow your heart and do what feels best for you. It’s fun that you are going to the Vermont Sheep and Wool festival, I have gone once and really enjoyed it. Definitely a possibility for me this year since I can just drive up for the day.
I would love to say hi if you are at the festival 😊😊
If I do go to the festival, I will definitely look for you and say hello
Love all you future knits….my list is equally long. I enjoy your podcast and hearing about all your knits.
I especially love your Gaja Cardigan, and Cargill and the colour you've chosen for yout Pink Grapefruit Lady is just perfection 😍
I can very much relate to your contemplation about your channel's future. Stay true to you and keep doing what you love, whenever YOU feel like it 🤗💕
Thank you so much Nikki ❤️❤️
I always enjoy your podcast! I love hearing about all your projects that you have knitted and about your new cast on projects.
It’s definitely a pattern worth repeating 😁
Hi glad you're feeling better and back to sharing your knitting journey with us. I would say that you should absolutely use your rainbow set for the habitations throw! While tagging it Megha only is an option, teaching the cats to read that tag let alone honor it might be hard. So make it for your beautiful yarn room!
I’m so glad you starting to feel better. I’m settled in and have started working on half and half while I listen
Hooray for Vt sheep and wool! I live in the town next to Tunbridge and love having a close by festival. If I see you, I might start fan girling!
Hahaha I would love to say hi if you are at the festival 😁😁
Love the rambles! Your sweaters are all beautiful. A nice variety of colors and textures. You will have a great fall wardrobe. Enjoy yourself
Hi Megha! Thankyou for a lovely time with you - I like your rambling, it's really good knitting time! Plus, hearing your thoughts can be much more fun/rewarding/touching than just the regular knitting podcast... Sometimes I forget to listen to you because it's very calming to knit with you, but then I just start over the next day, I really don't mind watching and hearing you and projects more than once🌞🙏
Oh, and speaking of projects: you might want to consider the Sandnes Line to grow quite a bit! Will see how it works😉
All my best wishes, from Denmark🌹
Thank you so much Trine! I am making a smaller size expecting the yarn to grow… fingers crossed my math works 🙈
@@skeinsofdreamsknits You're welcome! I hope it works for you🤞😆👍
It’s only normal to reflect especially since it’s been a year of podcasting…your podcast is one of my favorites.
Hello from Mounds Illinois! Your dress is beautiful and you looked awesome in it, it fits perfectly!
Thank you 😊
I think that multicolored blanket you want to make would make a beautiful wall hanging and would stay safe. 🙂 Really enjoy your podcast. Thank you!
beautiful podcast as usual! Take care of yourself :)
You and your husband make a lovely couple. Your dress is beautiful.
Thank you so much Doris ❤️
i agree i dont do test knits because i like to follow my whims too much! i would be bad.
@@skeinsofdreamsknits Thanks, Megha! Just saw your latest episode and am excited your Birkin sweater is finding new life :)
You do You. No one else can 😉
❤️❤️
I really like chiaogoo fixed circulars! I also have knitpicks, addi, lykke sets but I think Chiaogoo is my favorite because of the cords
The wrap is beautiful. What length of circular needles was used for this size? Can it be knit on 80 cm circular needles?
80cm will be a bit tight I think. It’s 260 sts on the longest row.. I used a 160cm circular needle!
@@skeinsofdreamsknits thank you!
I think its good for you to keep the podcast and work on your tendency to be competitive. sometimes its good to make ourselves uncomfortable and work against our natural tendencies... to me, that discomfort is growth. and.... i love your content and your chatter.
It's a schlanket! Ha! Ha!
