Bro, if that is a lithium battery that went out I want to say my experience using them for trolling motors SUCKS in Florida. The heat gets to them and the internal fuse makes it cut power off.
No idea if that was the issue or not. He did end up getting a new one through warranty, so that's a plus. My Amped Outdoors battery has never given me any issues.
@@nathanielholleyfishing Understood, but I just say with experience I went through a couple of those and they are "Smart" and will cut off internally in then Florida heat. I just go with a 29DC from Walmart now.
@@RandomJ2023 yea I wouldn't be surprised if they come out with some sort of passive cooling device for them sooner or later. I try to only use mine in short bursts to keep it from getting too hot.
What part of the lake did you launch at? And what part of the lake are you fishing? I’m guessing that’s the north area but not sure.
Only the one boat ramp at Stick Marsh. This trip was the north end but I'll go all over that lake.
