YES! NOTES! My brother and I were discussing predictions before WWDC. He was throwing outlandish ideas at the wall and I kept saying none of them would stick. The last few keynotes had been disappointing. I said “if the only thing they announce is an official Apple Notes app for the watch I will feel satisfied.” LITERALLY everything he hoped for came true, but I didn’t get a notes app. If it comes I will ditch Evernote completely. Side note, but I am super loving your channel. Love your take on tech and your unbelievably useful series.
I mean you could just swipe down from the middle of your homescreen and calculate basic stuff. But yeah you are right, it's kind of funny that they would think, it isn't something you would use on your iPad xD
Another glaring omission IMO is that I don't have the option to get notified when my phone is getting out of range from the watch. This would help prevent me leaving the phone someplace accidentally. Is this an option that I somehow missed?

The noise app is going to be critical for people like me who are DJs. For example, if I’m ever playing a live event, I would have voiceover running through an in ear monitor such as the west tone in ear monitor sso that the audience wouldn’t hear it. I would need to listen to the decibel readings that voiceover will give me on the Apple Watch to make sure that the in-house audio isn’t too loud.
Unfortunately I’m a bit hearing impaired. Hoping to use the Apple Watch with a hearing aid ... any thoughts on that ... and to add that hoping to use an “in-canal” hearing device ...could be cool even

I’m in turmoil. I have a 4 but just bought a Garmin Fenix 5 plus and can’t bring myself to take the Fenix off my wrist. I’d look daft with a watch on both wrists. A lot of the Apple apps appear to be apps for the sake of making an app. Not enough real world functionality. Siri is rubbish. Strava for my running inaccurate (hence the Fenix) and battery is poor. There’s so much more an Apple Watch could do but doesn’t. Plus the available faces are very poor. Think my wife is getting a gift and I’m sticking with my new Garmin.
So, your opinion is that the new watch faces are the best and biggest new feature ? For years people paid tens of thousands of dollars for a Rolex Watch with a watch face that never changes..... Ummmm
Is the Watch OS6 Beta stable enough to use on a daily basis? I'm on iOS13 with little issues now, but have been holding off on Watch OS6 Beta until more bugs get worked out. Anyone here use it and can comment how their experience has been? App Crashes? Battery Life? Etc?
Does anyone know whether the California Watch face is coming to series 3? I can imagine that the full screen will be series 4 exclusive, however is the circular version maybe coming to all watches?
The watchOS betas are out but for developers. You can try it out anyway but if the watch starts experiencing issues, you would have to wait for another beta or send it to Apple
Apple Watch 4 is great but is very delicate. Breaks easily. I broke mine within 2 days of buying it. I have all Apple services and devices except for EarPods. I am going for Samsung galaxy watch even though it will have very limited functionality when paired with iPhone.

Sounds to me like your struggling “trying” to find good things to say about most of the new watch, I just bought the 3rd gen but Apple is having a hard time trying to find anything new in their iPhone and the watch.
I use the Decibel X app on the Watch, which is like the Noise app, to look for a place where I can make a phone call without being disturbed by ambient noise, or the likes of it. So, it's great Apple is goint to cannibalize on that market.
If you know you said calendar instead of calculator then why don’t you re film it instead of just adding text? Shows you don’t care about your quality.
Ok... the battery life on my Green 11 is now phenomenal (13.1.2 👍), but Watch 4 on ios 6 ...still🤮 & dies too soon. If I did all the tasks mentioned on this blog, I might get 7 hrs....might.... 👎
