@stormsirens2 You're right about that -- many, many people's vocabularies are being greatly simplified. For example, 'awesome' has become the all-purpose positive adjective, like 'doubleplusgood' in Nineteen Eighty-Four.
Does anybody know when this documentary was made? I remember watching this series (not about this book, but many others) back in the 90's. If this was made in the 90's then the bits about the 2 minute hate are a bit more interesting...
