Read Stefan Zweig's "The world of yesterday", and soon realized it was mostly pretentious nonsense.. The absolute negation of Orwell.. When you've familiarized yourself with Beethoven and Orwell, you don't waste time on Strauss and Zweig.

I really truly believe that George Orwell was a time traveler because what we learned in his 1984 made sense when I read it as a kid in the early 1970s but now ended your of the internet and social media it really really hits home .
