i wanted to say that there is a cool species that is named Koilagons. They're so cute! They're also kind-of based off of koi fish. I *really* suggest to check 'em out!
I'm making a wickerbeast sona rn, I don't know a name for her yet but het colours are dark grey, yellow, neon green, light yellow, light green and possibly white! If you have name ideas can you tell me them?
I imagine it's a combination of things. 1. Indoor (see: air conditioned) location. 2. Specified activity, so no awkwardly standing around in fursuits like "ok now what?", but the activity isn't super demanding, you go up when it's your turn and then go back. Thus allowing plenty of just hanging out and socializing in between. 3. Food and drinks are also available, and since you're already there you don't have to deal with possible issues going to a new location in fursuits. TL;DR it's a low demand activity that takes place in an air conditioned building where food and drinks are available.
I've seen Wickerbeasts. I really love them. P.s: Are robotic canines a original specie?? I don't think that I'm the only one that have one of them as a sona
I wouldn't say they are an original species, just because their so vague. If you make a species that has specific features, names and backstory then that's a bit of a different story, but just robotic canines arent original as far as I'm aware. I have one too 😁
@@lipyves I don't think so. They have similar characteristics. But the difference is that Protos (and Primagens) are a part artificial. Meanwhile Robotic canines are fully artificial like Synths

Even if Primagens are classified as canines you should be able to make a robotic canine without it being struck down, as long as it has different names and features
Consumer fraud? Whoah what happened with that one? Edit: Apparently they left the fandom but the problem is that they had suits and products that they didn't do or refund before they left. Also a species that jumped out at me when I was introduced was the Ampwaves! Maybe you could add that to this series?
Yay super happy to see more videos on Wickerbeasts!! As a suit owner of a swamp wickerbeast I can definitely say we do give the best hugs and our tails make the best pillows to cuddle with!

Before I finalized my own personal fursona, I almost made myself a Wickerbeast. I think the only reason I didn’t end up going with it was the rule that the ears are always pointed backwards. But otherwise, hot dang I love the designs of this species! :D
I'm actually designing my own species right now! Granted they are still a very heavy work in progress but I think I know where I wanna go with about 30% of the body shape/type & about 10% of the lore is good to go idk if I will make my species like an open,semi-open or closed species atm but when I'm more sure you will know! I'm calling them "Elvish Walker/Walking Beasts" and I can't wait to premiere them!
Honestly I'd love to make my own original species and show it off, I'm a HUGE writer and I love to imagine different worlds! I already have an idea for an original species, which (long story short) are like guardian angel cloud doggos! Only problem? I'm not the best at drawing and can't pump out like an art piece every week. And with how heavy the fandom leans on art and not writing, I don't really think it would go anywhere. (not to rag on the people who like art in the fandom, all your art is really good, I'm just kinda sad that writing doesn't get as much attention)
This might sound stupid but I'm new and my fursona looks a lot like a wickerbeast. I only now learned of them and Im now worried in case I could get in trouble for it. My character has a mane, spikes along its back, same style mouth, back turned ears, and horns. The differences are mine has small wings, a fox tail, different body type, and pupils. I doubt I would get in trouble but being anxious, I want to double check.
Why not cover kitsunes from Japanese lore, I’ve seen quite a few variations within the fandom and it seems kinda interesting with their backstories in Japanese mythology

What about one with Ampwaves. These music creatures that have unique details and changes to others: Speaker ears, robotic tail with a plug on the end, bigger hands and more. They’ve been getting kinda attention and I think it’s worth spreading around to others.

Their name escaped me, but there's this new furry species with speakers in their ear and on their paws, and they've been blowing up a bit recently. The name "Wickerbeast" is pinging on my memory strangely. I think I must have heard of them years ago somehow, before I entered into the Furry Fandom. Though I think it was just a picture and a name, because none of the lore sounds even remotely familiar. I do think they're cute though. And huggable, as you said.
I'd suggest Ampwaves, Synths, Mochi Raptors, Avali, or Gem Raptors. Also thank you for doing WIckerbeasts! One of my fursonas is a king beast. And yes, you may absolutely hug her tail.
