Thanks for the upload... looking forward to the new campaign ! 👍
As usual, a bit of build up and then we’ll get playing. Secrets must be unearthed! It will also include rules for doing games with opposing parties of heroes (villains)
I finished Guards! Guards! a couple months ago, my first Pratchett book. Loved it.
You’ve fine taste👍👍
The re-positioned heads are a nice touch. I would have preferred the images on the cards to match the equipment, but I suppose you wanted to make the sergeant stand out from the others? Do you have plans to do one for the captain?
Yes, that was exactly our thinking with the photos. My first instinct was to make the weapons match but when I did the sergeant really did not look remarkable. We will be adding to these and the captain will definitely be one of those and I might do the alternate pictures too with matching weapons anyway just for completeness
Don't know why I never considered doing it, especially since the concept of human mercenaries is always fun
@@russellede we’ve used them in some of our previous games in our current campaign and they perform well, they’ve leather armour and decent WS so are neither a pushover nor a challenge too far. Definitely worth trying out in your games 👍
Interestingly Men-at-arms in reality were actually wealthy men... not some "riff raff"
Very true in European, well typically German, history. Alas! In their depictions in the Warhammer world they are far less nobly portrayed, more akin to lowly night watchmen or the lowest rung of the city militia. To a “hero” figure, perhaps looked down upon as “riffraff” by all but the largest of hearts.
You do make a very very fine point though good sir! Thank you very much! 🙇
