Queen of her day! If I were to find the ol gal, then I'd have to get her home.. I'd put money on you or I, showing today's operators up with the ol gal! I don't get along with fly by wire, give me sticks connected to valves and I'll get it done 👍😁 Thank you Skadill!!
Ran a 25 and a 45 but the 45 with a hammer a lot more but both were sweet runners. Wished you had it and would make videos of it. I found with the swashplate pumps and a closed center system you needed to stay moving. God Bless yall, Ed!!
@@lewiemcneely9143 my old Mitsubishi 070 (cat E70) is a black market machine... It ran a hammer before it swam here... She's old and tired, but... You know, a bigger old machine would be nice 👍 God bless you all too Lewie
mAYBE YOU CAN FIND ONE HID IN THE BUSHES LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE IS DOING. i NEVER HAVE SEEN ONE LIKE THAT MYSELF. mAYBE i'VE BEEN IN THE WRONG PLACE. I HATE caps locs.I like hammering. I ranna 22-B and a 30-B and a Model-6 with an iron cross. Granite makes the cross ring like a bell. I'm old and tired too but I could still hammer a little. Happy winter, Ed!@@GosselinFarmsEdGosselin
@@lewiemcneely9143 usually if it in the brush here, it's in the bottom of a canyon, where it rolled. Not much left of them.. but you never know 🤔 So far, winter has either been cold and dry, or warm and wet 🙄 I prefer cold and dry.. hopefully it gets cold again Have a good winter Lewie
I'm in the process. Toots is cleaning out the greenhouse (10x20) and says she's not going to plant like she used to but we'll see. I was picking up pine cones for fire starters for the Grans and parents. Not very cold yet here either. 50's today and mostly sunny but a warm house still beats cold outside. It'll cool off. Global cooling happens every year about this time. God Bless Yall, Ed!@@GosselinFarmsEdGosselin
Yes, for sure ! Today working 10 hours a day in an excavator or a Dozer has nothing to do with what it was 30 or 40 yrs ago ! The young operators of today would probably not be able to work with these old Babies, without the "help" of all electronics and all this BS stuff that tells you, minute by minute how many rounds the Dumper run, or how much you loaded with your bucket, and of course all this while having the ass well heated in winter or well cooled in summer ! When work was work.....
I always liked those rigs especially with the 3406 in the 45. LOTS of grit! Thanks, Pal and God Bless!

I can hear the distinctive sound of the cat engine from that era. Deep, guttural cat sound.
