Hello & Happy New Year ✨ yes I so agree with you on having our own personality of dressing our home 😊 I love the rustic look , old world … quaint & cosy 💗
Oh, so good to see you again! Happy new year! I agree with you about design trends, or trends of any nature… You have to bring into your home what you absolutely love and everything that you bring in will go together because it’s a compilation of what delights you! I’m 61 and have been decorating my home obviously for years, and it is kind of funny to see things that all of a sudden become trends that I’ve been doing for a while and then they go away and it doesn’t matter because I still love what I do! Especially when it comes to bathrooms and kitchens… You have to be so so careful about where you put your money. I highly recommend very neutral countertops and cabinets, but you can go crazy on paint and accessories that aren’t too expensive and you absolutely love… There is a theme here…! Paint is cheap relatively and it can really change your mood like you were talking about! I am also 1,000,000,000% here for Broken rooms as you called it or broken up spaces again! Hallelujah hallelujah! I think that unless you like a very very modern design vibe, broken rooms are phenomenal… I like walls! Great advice, and always given with such humility and joy!❤
Awh, thank you so much for taking the time to write this thoughtful response!! I love all that you shared so much. Love that you see things begin to trend that you've been doing for years and then watch them go away but it doesn't matter because YOU love it. That's what it's all about - timeless design. And what is timeless for you will be different than what is timeless for me! That's the beauty of it all. Thanks for being here 🥰
I hope we start seeing more interior design that doesn't feature the whole living space in one big great room. Smaller rooms allow for different paint colors, floors, interesting wall decor. I have a galley kitchen and it's impossible to find inspo especially with american designers
I got it from a local antique shop!! A dream find! I suggest looking on ebay, etsy, local antique shops and flea markets! You never know what you'll find!
LOL it's definitely easier to do with money, but prioritizing your outdoor space is something someone with any budget can do! We made over our backyard with only facebook marketplace finds and DIY's and it is truly magical! We won't be having an outdoor kitchen for some time, but you can definitely do a lot with a little - I'm living proof!
Your personality is so sweet.
🥹 thank you so much 🤍
Love this video: your passion for this topic shines through and the images you show to highlight what you are sharing capture the idea perfectly.
Awh, I am so glad you loved this video! Thank you so much 🤍

Broken floor plan! 👌🏼 I can’t wait to do additions to my home and create that broken floor plan. Love historic homes for that!
Right?! So much more character that way!!!
Your video keeps zooming in and out. Love your videos
That’s on purpose! That’s what a good video editor does!
Thank you so much for watching! The zooms were purposeful, I'm sorry if they were too much! 🤍
Keep doing what you are doing! I
Thank you!!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I am with you on this!! I feel that having more rooms allows for more personality in a home!
Can you please provide the source for the image of the white tulip like ceiling light/sculptural piece?? Thank you!
Unfortunately there was no source connected to this one! I found it on pinterest but there was no product or shop website connected to it! 😢
Where did you get the tapestry on your wall?
I got it from a local antique shop!! A dream find! I suggest looking on ebay, etsy, local antique shops and flea markets! You never know what you'll find!
Second trend is for rich people 😅
