Welcome to another tour on my channel!!! In this video I give you a tour of the private student accommodation that I currently live in as promised in my dorm tour video. Can you please explain about top ups at festival edge
So the original rent price for this year for a sharing room was R6 400 per month but since nsfas has a cap of R4 500 this year, I was supposed to top up R1 600 every month originally after nsfas has payed the R4 500 part of rent. The SRC did find a way to help though and negotiate that most buildings decrease their top up and festival edge was one of them, so my monthly top up did go down from R1 600 to R240 every month. The single rooms original top up was R1 900 and it went down to R1 200 after the top decrease by the SRC. These are all this year’s prices though next may differ , that is why I did not want to talk about prices in the video because prices do change over time , usually yearly

Just go to google and search festival’s edge student accommodation their website will pop up, and then on their website you can see all the info about the building and you can also apply there , then they will contact you

Hey I wanted to ask so a single room does it come with a bathroom,kitchen if so how much does it cost if you don’t mind answering ❤️
You don’t really get your own private bathroom that you use alone even when you are in a single room but you only share with the 4 people you live with in the same unit and no one else. Same story with the kitchen. As for the price , they change every year so I can’t say one thing exactly because next year they might be different but currently they are R6400
