I found ASHEN randomly on spotify and I cant stop listening to their only 4 songs but this song has been the one that's been stuck in my head it's really really good

This is my first time hearing ASHEN (I think), I'm only at 2:42 in your vid and I've already hearted this on Spotify. Now I've finished the video and wow, those chord changes in the chorus were killer, as were the subtle off-key notes in the vocals and guitars at times. They really make this track stand out. Man's got a lovely and unique voice, and I didn't expect those gnarly uncleans. I will have to hear more of this band for sure. This was what I needed to hear this morning. I am wowed.
Massively impressed by this one!!! I've been waiting to find an Ashen track to hit me to the same level as Sapiens did, and I think I've finally found it! I was SUCH a massive fan of Candid Monster too, and finding out that Ashen's vocalist was the one involved also really piqued my attention towards this band - I think we get a few moments in this track that are reminiscent! That more electronic opening, and the huuuuge high note remind me of why I enjoyed that TDTC closer so much. Definitely agree that this band's sound seems to be heavily driven by Clem's clean vocals. Always love a good heavy vocal, but some bands really do best with a melodic focus, and Ashen is one of these. Man has got some screams in the back pocket when he needs, but with a singing voice THIS good they really do not need it. Instrumentals did not slack at all either. Really impressed by the riffs and chord progressions here. Mix and production elements are top tier and present the song in such a positive light. I really hope that we're leading up to a new release - I'm excited to hear more of this direction! France continues to kill it in 2022.
