For static scenes that can be baked - or at least, where the particle volume won't be moved or rotated - I have noticed that this works well. But for a flamethrower attached to a weapon or even a rotating turret or whatever, this doesn't seem to work well. Is there a way that we can make an effect like these missiles but for actually targeting and damaging something, particularly if both the source and target (spawn location and destination) are moving characters? Same for the flamethrower I suppose.
Thank you for this course! Can this technique be used in games? My RTX4080 laptop gpu dies. Packaged development app show 20fps on basic map (from UE tutorial) with this setup.

It can be used in games at this quality if you cache it first. For it to run real-time in-game you’d need to lower the resolution of the sim.
