Houdini Crack File: vfxmagic.gumro...
In this tutorial, learn how to open a pre-made ground destruction file in Houdini and export it to Unreal Engine. I'll guide you through handling both moving and static geometries, applying necessary attributes, and troubleshooting common errors. By the end, you'll be equipped to optimize your RBD simulations for seamless integration with Unreal Engine.

All how to work from Houdini to unreal
Very happy you made this video🎉
Can't imagine how long it took you to import that to UE. Nice work.
Awesome work! Great job man
Thanks 😊
do ypu think it is posssible to use a megascan material in order to use nanite displacement?
Alembic is option for cinematic but not for games. VAT is the way. Anyway, thank you! =)
@@laplanddream thanks for the tip :)
Can you explain this VAT process a bit brother that would be very helpful
Me gustan mucho tus vídeos, he aprendido mucho
Hey, thanks for the suggestion! I will add it to my list. Maybe I will include it in a future tutorial.
Bro i'm not able to fix that ue5.4 error of alembic flie taht shown in video please help....i'm simple using box rbd facture nothing complex or anything simple box fall simulation....not able to import in ue5....it's working fine in blender but in ue it is showing that 5 vertices error...help me
Before exporting just use the divide node, it will make triangle mesh, this will solve that error
@@VFXMagics i used divide node but it make geometry invisible before Rop Alembic and when i use divide after geometry mesh it doesn't work.... that's the issue
Great tutorial. How would I modify this tutorial for a game? I understand that alembic files would be less performant than les sy fbx or VAT
I am not into games, so I can't really say. I have not tested the FBX or Houdini Engine workflow on this, but you can give it a try on simple geo animation. maybe Houdini Engine should work.
@@VFXMagics Thanks for getting back to me i'll look into that
Did u show How to export the Camera from houdini to unreal? Can’t find that part in the video, am i blind? 😅
Oh I missed showing that step. It's very simple: go to File > Export > Filmbox FBX and select only the camera. That will export it.
Great
Thanks
How much time it takes to render this sequence ?
30-80 seconds
so basicly you just export as alembic file.
Yes, Alembic is one way to do this, but there are other options as well, such as FBX and possibly the Houdini Engine (though I have not tested it yet).
