Great video! I just asked for a USMLE Step 2 style question and it gave me a presentation that obviously looked like a STEMI. One of the answers was to start PCI and another was to start heparin. It was looking for PCI, but technically I'd start heparin in the ED while waiting for interventional to take the patient. I asked a series of clarification questions and it did a fantastic job of providing more background info and it even explained why using TPA isn't as useful as a balloon if there will be a wait. I'm super impressed, thanks for giving the suggestion of using ChatGPT for USMLE questions!

I'm surprised with how much you could utilize ChatGPT on that level! I'd never thought that it could do the stuff you made it do! Generate questions with the literal goal of delineating differences between related diseases? Wow!
I mean when I was studying , my experience with ChatGPT was very disappointing. It probably is the case that it got much better since then, but I think also the fact that is more of basic science (solid knowledge) heavy material made it really futile... LLM like ChatGPT excel at "processing" the info & details, manipulating the knowledge, the approach, the algorithms & the rather than generating info or help digging deep into the scientific basis... It's why & how the dots are connected, rather than what are the dots? or why the dots are that shape? if that makes sense... That's why it could be used in clinical knowledge exams preparation, I guess!

I don't currently tutor! But I think there are a lot of great tutors out there already. One of my friends used Mehlman Medical and had really good results. I used some of his resources and found them to be very high quality, though I didn't utilize his tutoring services.

I’m studying for the MCAT and I have tried to use chat gpt but it often tells me wrong answers very confidently. You didn’t experience this ?

Great point. I actually did experience this! I do pay for the subscription so I have the newer version which I've found is pretty reliable for the most part. I also have tried to continuously improve my prompts (being super clear and specific, etc) to chat, and by doing that I found it made less errors. Usually when it makes errors, I catch them (or so I think), but I do think you do need a solid foundation before using Chat for Step 2 prep in order to be able to catch the errors.
