    Been waiting on this one looks great off the line very nice torque don't take long to reach those speeds either all in all I would say impressive and knowing you keep tinkering with it will be hitting 70 before long🤣...

    What would you recommend for a stock 125(2020) as far as performance per dollar? Airflow, EFI, clutch or CVT components? If you had say $500 to spend, what would you do?

    Great video. That's pretty good acceleration 0-60 for a CVT scooter

      I got a new belt to use but I’m waiting for a new variator first before I use it.

    Did you have to tune the ECU given the upgrades? I have a stock 2016 Zuma and I want to add an exhaust. Cheers, thanks for the video!

    • @SmallEngineVelocity
      @SmallEngineVelocity  ปีที่แล้ว

      From the experts, I was told no ECU or fuel mods were needed. You only need to IF you upgrade the size of your throttle body. I did port and polish the intake so I believe I could have benefited from a tune but

    Is there enough torque now to lift the front up a bit with the BBK?

    Seems to be way better than the reliability issues with gy6 mods.

    • @SmallEngineVelocity
      @SmallEngineVelocity  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If my RUCKUS was this reliable with the GY6 this would feel average to me. As it stands now I am amazed at how well this Zuma runs, The usable power, the ability to carry 1000 things, and to me LOOKS cool.

      @@SmallEngineVelocity yeah , I need to go thru all your zuma vids. Maybe i could get the wife to ride something like this. We sold the ruckus as it just wasnt the same like back when I was 150lbs.

    What would happen if you put twin turbos on it?

    • @SmallEngineVelocity

      @@SmallEngineVelocity Yes the law should not require 50cc without a separate license!
      They should simply put a governor on a 125 to 150 cc. Motorcycle or scooter and put a governor that stops it from going more than 45 50 mph. 30 or 35 mi./hr. is too slow & there’s not enough power for hills!
      Awesome if you had the bigger engine and it was just topped out at a safe speed. Until you got your motorcycle endorsement. Then you could practice son and keep the same bike and have it de restricted at the DMV!
      I would be OK with that government regulation as long as it came with the more powerful motor for safety reasons!
      Just as going to fast can kill if you’re inexperienced. Going to slow can get you killed or badly injured! Especially with crazy pissed off drivers!!

    Hey man, I just got the same scoot 2016 125cc zuma. Do you 100% recommend doing the upgrade? I’m probably going to ride stock for a bit but I know I’m going to want to mess around in the future, if it’s worth it

    • @SmallEngineVelocity
      @SmallEngineVelocity  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ride stock for as long as you like. You will find it is powerful enough for every day riding. It will be fun to ride! Now with that being said, with the BBK I can tear up the road and give cars a hard time keeping up off line line. X3 more fun now but do I recommend it ? If you have the tools and the skill sure but I recommend getting to know the bike (ride stock 125) for as long as you like until you feel like you could use more. Thanks for the reply
