Hi Anne,,,nice to see you on a snowy day here and brrr ❄️ cold,,,, I am enjoying the temperature dishcloth ,,,too,,,, It's going to be fun to see all the different ones for sure,,, I am working on getting wips done ,,,,using stash ,,,more socks ,,,joined the Sox along ,,,, A good start to January,,, Take care Elaine ❤️🏠⛄
I’m doing the temperature dishcloths which I’m really looking forward to doing and I’ve also got the advent from Ellie at craft house magic and im looking forward to starting mine x
I am working on 4 projects for Quarter 1. I am working on Stephen’s HKAL until it’s done cuz I want to wear it to a Conference in Saskatoon & need it to be packed on January 26. Then I want to close the second toe of my Stephen West Secret sock along from summer as I had to cut out the toe and reknit and now I just have to do that longish Kitchener. I hate Kitchener stitch! But figured if I just used it to close off the icord bind off for my HKAL, I could squeeze that toe in quickly and presto, project done! Then I want to cast on the Piet Sweater as I didn’t cast on for New Year’s Eve cuz I was working madly on my HKAL. And lastly, I will work on my “Kermit the Shawl” (aka Raingelt by Rastus Hsu which is knit in gorgeously soft Kermit green Opus yarn.) That’s a one colour project so it is handy to take travelling to my Conference. The Piet Sweater is striped (5 colours?) so after I finish HKAL & SSAL, I will go back and forth with the other two until Spring Break. Is the current plan….
@ Yes. I am almost done my HKAL. 3 chevron stripes left plus the bind off. Almost all my ends are tucked in. Just not the section 10 & 11 ends. Martyn’s is looking good except he didn’t add in any mohair for the “frosted” look. But I love his colours and the stitch definition is amazing. I have 2 shawls (one is only about 2 skeins - 1 main and 6-7 minis actually) and some frogging to do in Q2 plus finishing up Kermit & my Piet sweater. We shall see.
Hi Anne, great projects and look forward to how they grow over the weeks to come. Hugs❤❤❤
Thanks so much! I am getting good progress on them all....although I am not as fast a knitter as you!
I'm knitting the Blizzard sweater by Jessica McDonald. I got the pattern and wool for Christmas 😊
OOh will have to look that one up!

Love the dishcloth idea, I may have to start that! The gnome is looking very cute! Hope you have a Blessed 2025❤
I am really enjoying the dishcloth...so easy 2 rows per day. It will be so neat to see all the different colours over the year.

OOOh awesome Kim. I am really enjoying both...still not sure I want to put the boobles on the cowl yet...will decide when I get there.
