😂🤣 I love how you started today's video. It made me laugh out loud. "Go get a biscuit, I will wait. Oh, the heck with it you are taking to long." That was priceless. Thanks for the book recommendation, I am not a big Patterson fan but the Murder club looks like something I would like.
Shame on youtube for not recommending your videos to me sooner!! I have thoroughly enjoyed spending time and stitching with you this afternoon! Thank you for sharing your stitching, Ann!
Enjoyed watching you as I stitched today. Love all you're doing. Now pondering making a 'Flax' pullover (jumper) for myself...sigh...So many ideas! Anyway, thought of you this week when I got a post-Xmas.gift from a friend: "The World of Cross Stitching" Xmas edition! She found it in a Save-on Foods store in Camrose (Alberta) where she lives. Now, I don't do "holiday" stitching, but there was a "Deck the Halls" pattern featuring Peter Rabbit and his sister Flopsy, getting ready to hang a wreath. Then there were the tiny stitches (for cards or ornaments) featuring gnomes and elves etc. ("Little Helpers") and the "Merry Morning" cross-stitched Xmas stocking. What caught *my* attention, though was the collection of birds -- none of which we see out here in the winter, and of course, the robin was *clearly* an English one -- I could tell that, simply by looking at his little round body. These are tiny too -- meant to be made into cards. I expect you have the magazine (maybe your dad sent it to you?) but if not, and you would like it, I would be happy to mail it to you, as I expect you'd do more of the stitching than I would. 🙂 Just let me know in the comments and I'll try to check back and look for your answer.
OOh gosh....I am not sure I have that one. I have the December issue but not the Christmas one. Dad sent me another package, so let's wait and see if it's in that one first. Thanks!!!
Hi ! Ann, Thank you for sharing all your crafting. I really enjoy your videos. Your Flax sweater is such a lovely colour. I would appreciate it if you could please tell me what yarn you used and also the size, because I am a 32” but decides knitted a 34” but it came out tight. I am in South Africa and just knitted on normal acrylic DK yarn, maybe I need to upgrade to a better quality yarn Thank you very much. Best regards Colleen 🇿🇦
I used Bernat Premium acrylic yarn. Botany Teal. It's an aran weight or a #4. I got 3 skeins and had enough left to make my grandson one too. For myself I knit the M/L size. Hope that helps??
