@Tadashi Ishihara The 12 year old tastes darker. Dark fruits, spiciness, cacao The 101 is a bit younger and that makes the malt come out more: Malt, vanilla, hints of honey
love the new(er?) english videos . . . i've been watching for years but don't speak or understand german . . . went on facial expression, tone of voice and the like . . . was always a fan of your work, but even happier now that i can understand your thoughts!
I think the subtle cultural differences between Americans and Germans are quite fascinating. Calling yourself "the best" would be considered rude in Germany, but in America you're actually expected to call yourself the best even if you're the worst. I've also found that even very rich Germans never outwardly display their wealth or spend money of frivolous things. Here in America this is the opposite.
I've never had the 12 year, but I found the 80 proof a little unnaturally harsh. It has a decent taste though, don't get me wrong. Spicy for sure. It's also decently priced. Sometimes I'll get a double of WT neat on a cold night.
I enjoy your videos. You have the quirkiest mannerisms - like your slight pause at 4:00 when you look at the camera as you put down the bottle. Good stuff! Can you do a JW Green review?????
Is this bourbon still in production? I live in the US and cannot find any trace of it. Maybe it was replaced by the Rare Breed (a blend of 6, 8, and 12 yo bourbon) due to increased demand outpacing 12yo stocks?
Yes, I also think that they are going more in a no age direction due to short supply. But you can read on the official website that the 12 year old is available for purchase in Japan.
I appreciate the fact that he put the microphone in his throat. It shows real commitment. I love it

I wish the Wild Turkey 101 review was in English or that I could understand German. That is one of my favorites.

How would you compare the 12 y.o. to the Wild Turkey 101 or 81? I cannot find the 12 y.o. in California.
Wonder if this is still available in 2021?
Where did you get that sipping glass?
Have you guys made a video for Wild Turkey 101?
They did, also check out the Rare Breed.
i want buy a nice whisky ... what you advise me .... jack Danial & Glendfiddch
Not Jack, never Jack, it taste like Glue. Macallan 12 is a good place to start for a nice Scotch Whiskey.
I get strong hints of alcohol
