    Good stuff ReeWray, thanks for making us aware of this Licitti Box.
    If I occasionally needed a second 100amp LiFePO battery to match seasonal sump pump demands, is there an easy way to connect to the battery inside the box or will I have to drill some holes through it for the connections?

    • @ReeWrayOutdoors
      @ReeWrayOutdoors  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      the easiest way for a direct DC connection would be to just use those big 50A Anderson connectors. But if you need something to support the full 100A, you'd probably need to drill a access hole or two...OR you could double up the cables and use BOTH of the 50A in/out connectors.

    I'm assuming the black Anderson Power pole is keyed so you can't plug the black into the grey? At least that's what I've seen on some Anderson Power Pole sites, the larger 50A power poles are key coded by color so they are not mixed up for different uses.

    Ran a test on our upright freezer. Test lasted 15 hours, stopped it short because I went to bed. When the freezer cycled on it was using approx. 115 watts. Since I didn't have a shunt or a smart battery I used a Govee Smart Plug Pro to track accumulated KWH. This model freezer used 861 watts total in the 15 hour period when I stopped the test. It could have lasted longer. I am only using this Licitti power station when the grid is down, and at night so I don't need to run the gas generator. Charged it with a 30 amp charger and its slow. I have the first model, and the newer box. With the Govee Smart Plug I was able to see the status of the unit while traveling that afternoon. Works for me.

Still way off of the 7 day UPS shipping I paid $55 for - it's coming FedEx. The product seems pretty good, with a good price, I don't understand all the lies, just let everyone know it's 3 or 4 weeks shipping, that's what we expect from Chinese companies anyway.@@dnguyen68

      Yeah, connecting it via that big 175A Anderson connector would give you a nice parallel connection. But keep in mind that combining 2 batteries of different capacity will likely accelerate the natural degration of the smaller capacity battery over time so you may not get the full benefit that you'd expect. That port can also be used to connect up to a 2000W external inverter if you wanted to (according to the manual).

    Around $450 for cheap 200ah battery, $213 for box with AC charger= $663 plus tax (9% where I live), Approx cost is around $725. Comparable pre-built power station Dabbsson DBS2300 (example) with more features to include expansion ability: $1100. I love DIY but you sacrifice a lot for this option. I have 3 100ah batteries, an AC inverter, a solar charge controller and a wall charger. I think I'm in about $750. No frills and a bigger footprint but a lot of stored energy. If I dropped it down to 200ah, I would be in well under $600. Most of the 200ah batteries I've seen are 20" long. The box internal dimensions are listed at 13.19". Does someone know of a 200ah battery that will fit in this box?

      Not sure about a 200ah for this box, but I think what is compelling to some people is the DC output capability. I do not know of any preassembled PPS that has a 12V/175A DC outlet on them, let alone even one 50A DC outlet. The 50A outputs can easily power all the DC needs on small travel trailers.
