But after that there is some portion of signal will it not have any effect So what I can understand this is that in this formula we will use it upto one time period and after that if signal exist after one time period we will not calculate it
Here ,instead of using typical rms formula, I have shown you the use of energy of basic signal to get the rms of other signal.Try once on some sums,you will get it.

What will be the value of the overlapping area of the two signals when the amplitude of triangle nd rectangle one over the other is 2 instead of 1?
Then you will get the resultant signal as a triangle with height as 2
That means height of the resultant Triangle is product of heights of the individual rectangle nd height of the individual triangle ?
