    Thankyou for laying these out so simply! My head was bursting with all the overwhelming content in evidence but this helps make sense of it all.

    Just wanted to say thank you. Your content is engaging and informative. In a lot of cases more than most lecture content.

    It sounds good. Hope that it will help me to study the Hong Kong Law of Evidence in the coming week.

      I'm afraid I know very little about Hong Kong law, particularly given recent dramatic and unfortunate changes in the Hong Kong legal system. However I very much hope my videos are helpful!

    After listening to this video, the recommended movie 12 Angry Men make a lot of sense, especially on the concept of a Voir Dire :) thank you for this sir

      I think that is not right. 12 Angry Men was a US Court where Voir Dire is used in selecting the jury rather than examining the evidence in advance. Although great movie anyway.

    hi ,im greatfull for this lecture it simplifies evidence law to a great great extent,may GOD bless you,
    which books can you reccomend for the law of evidence?

    • @AnthsLawSchool

      Hello Edgar, thank you very much for your kind words. For evidence I recommend "Cross on Evidence". You should be able to find second hand copies online relatively cheaply. I hope this helps!

    Hello I really hope that you can take the time to answer a few questions or basically lead me in the direction as to how to handle defending against domestic violence between husband and wife where there were no physical injuries at all the wife never said that her husband hit her but two witnesses gave corroborating statements that video evidence proves that their statements were completely made up and exaggerated but the problem with this case is that the public defender is doing nothing and has been telling my friends that he’s guilty and to just take a deal when the PD got the video and finally watched it he was like it was nearly as bad as the witnesses made it out to be but he keeps stopping hisself from completing his comments meaning he knows the man is innocent and he’s not doing anything to show that the wife was assaulting him and that he never even put hands on her he got in her face and put his hand around her neck for about 3 secs and the PD says that they’re not budging on his sentencing that he has to take 52 weeks of domestic violence classes pay fines lose gun rights etc for something that should never have happened if it weren’t for those statements they would’ve never taken him to jail! Please please anyone that reads Thai if you can help me they go back to court on the 19th if this month the day after tomorrow

    • @AnthsLawSchool
      @AnthsLawSchool  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well, I don't really ever comment on individual situations on this channel. However you seem to be referring to a situation in the USA, and I have very limited understanding of American law. All I will say is that in my view domestic violence is never OK; however the presumption of innocence must remain intact; and American gun rights make the USA a laughingstock.

      @@AnthsLawSchool Thank you first for your reply and yeah lucky us to be American and I mean that with all intended sarcasm the laws in America don’t make sense but to the elites because the government switches or amends the laws whenever they see fit to benefit themselves and to keep the sheep herded on their path of lies and deceit! Lol well sir I do we do appreciate you for your input and knowledge and again thank you for your response blessings to you and yours truly you have our hearts for caring enough to even respond.

      Perhaps try a different device? This recording is pretty old now, and I haven't had complaints about the audio level on it previously. Sorry it gave you trouble - but rest assured, I use a much better audio setup these days :)
