I cannot find this anywhere else on the internet, so I have a question tangentially related to the topic of Burden of Proof so I would really appreciate an answer from you on this (preferrably as a reply to this comment as opposed to a video).
    My question is :
Could you please explain Professor Ian Dennis' 6 Cardinal Principles and how they relate to burden of proof? I find it hard to understand how each of these relates in detail to burden of proof, and I'm just generally unclear on each of these principles. Detailed answers on each of these would be very welcome.
    1. Judicial deference
    2. Classification of offences
    3. Construction of criminal liability (elements of the offence or defence)
    4. Significance of maximum penalties
    5. Ease of proof and peculiar knowledge
    6. Presumption of innocence

The Burden of proof who is the defendant?
The defendant is the decedent (Dead person).
Is knocking it out before going to court is the simplest answer?
