usually watch your entire clip, because you're not fake motivational and just show the struggle and how you overcome stuff and you don't seem to know how you will or how you did it already, but it's relatable, and I like when you talk about getting over the thing you've been struggling with
You mentioning the whole "content creator" mindset and how it's not exactly what YOU want to do speaks a lot about your content and why I watch. You're one of the realest on this platform when it comes to this stuff/your true feelings, and that's what keeps me coming back to watch each video through to the end personally.
I started watching this channel because of the fighting game tutorials because I wanted to get better at sf6. I like how the content is now, very real, and very relatable. The more recent videos have this unique combination of life talk and SF6.
I was just doom scrolling in bed (it's 9 AM over here) and as soon as the notification came up I instantly pressed it and watched the whole thing, glad to see you back in action, and really glad to see that you're doing your best to not let the bad days keep you away from the game, I really have to learn from your example, I don't even remember the last time I played SF at this point
Bro. You dont know how much i relate to the anxiety thing and leaving the house. Happy you're making progress in that. I have to do so for myself now too lol. Also, thank you for the content. To me, you're the "real/reflective guy". Not the hitbox guy, even though i found you through that. Everytime I watch you I feel like I made a new insight on myself. Keep it up man i really enjoy seeing your videos!
Watched until the end. What I enjoy about your video is that it’s very real, authentic and honest. It’s also very relatable. Sometimes, things aren’t great but not a lot of people will show that on the internet. I hope you turn a corner soon, pulling for you man.
been following these videos since the start of street fighter 6, and i can truly say that these little videos of yours just talking about your feelings has got me to open up to myself more and for that i just gotta say i really appreciate your content man :)
made it to the end. making friends as an adult outside of gaming is tough but ultimately very rewarding. for me signing up for adult rec leagues for sports was a gateway to meeting new friends in a new citu
Made it to the end and wished there was more lol. These are my favorite types of videos man. You gotta smooth voice, the music and vibe is chill (i hate the word "vibe" but there's not a better word for it.) But it just feels like we're chatting and it's pretty therapeutic for me. Also, perfect timing on the vid because I'm at a point where i can't even play without going on tilt anymore and it's had me questioning if I should even pick up the stick again because I seem to just be an angrier person overall, which sucks because I want to like playing this stupid game. Anyway, I know you said this isn't the type of vid that gets the views etc but I think I speak for everyone else who watched the whole thing when I say we love it. Have a good day man.
yeah my own street fighter journey is greatly slowed down by uninstalling the game at the end of every session cause I got mad and didn't like how it felt I think a certain amount of frustration is good, you can't be frustrated about something you don't care about, but SF6 makes me upset beyond that in ways almost nothing does at times it feels like and I really don't understand why
I made it to the end of the video i’ve been subbed for a while since the tail end of SF5 and watching your video is helpful bcuz im trying to learn and elevate how i play and honestly reach 1600MR. Watching your videos has helped me take the game more seriously when im now labbing to find ways to beat what im losing to when i use to hate training room. A lot of the things you mention that you are having trouble getting passed like getting tilted or expecting to see results when u put in the work are also things im working through. Basically what im saying is to is keep doing what you are doing. You are doing great😇
+1 person here who listened till the end. I’m really glad I came across your channel while trying to improve my Chun Li. Keep talking to that Audacity window man, it’s refreshing to hear how honest you are.
I made it to the end. Dunno what else to add here, I will say I do like the vibe of just how you share how you're feeling and what you're thinking. Feels relatable.
Thanks for the video! I'm going through a journey because I'm leaving my career and decided to start working on another, although I really haven't started. I found SF6 and saw an opportunity to learn discipline and to work through the highs and lows, even when I'm not seeing inmediate results, all without real high stakes, just time, no money; so, I definitely feel you even though our journey are different they feel as walking to the same direction. The video was very refreshing and meant something to me, so please remember that even if the statistics tell you otherwise.
Made it to the end :) this video really resonated with me and how I’ve been feeling about my own content and being a youtuber/streamer so it’s nice knowing you’re not alone 🧡
SF6 was my first serious fighting game, and I don't even play street fighter anymore but I still watch your content, I continue watching bc you can apply these deep talk feelings journal entries to anything, and its really cool to see someone going through the same things as me with a learner's mindset, or maybe straying from the learner's mindset and talking about the struggles.
I made it to the end, I feel the same way with my gameplay a lot. Feeling super inconsistent and if Im not in optimal conditions I cant play well. These videos are super reassuring that its normal
Damn. I was going through some of this stuff with making friends as an adult a couple of years ago. It was depressing, and I'm sorry you're going through that. Realized I didn't really have any friends anymore. So I put myself out there. And now I've built up a good friend base. Have a group of people who all get together for game nights. Even joined a dnd group. And have genuine bestie - like the best friend I've ever had in my life and we hang out every week. You can get out of this! It's just hard while you're in it.
Hey man, I got to end of the video! I actually have never seen any of your other videos before, but I definitely resonated with what you're talking about here. Just wanted to say great job!
Fuck, this video got me so bad. I was fine but then you started talking about progressing and running in place when it comes to progression and I'm there now. I've been in such a plateau with fighting games and with SF6 specifically that I feel like I'm over doing it when it comes to examining myself and I feel like I'm getting worse instead of getting better so I don't know what it means for me but it helped in this moment
Thanks for taking the time to make this. I def liked it because of how not youtube-y it was. You might not make a ton of money off of views and ads but know there are people out here that f with this style
I see a positivity behind not bottling yourself into creating content that you’re not interested in making for the sake of the possibility of more success. It’s clear that’s not exactly what you may be looking for and I commend you on sticking to the things you DO want to do. And yeah, being in a place where you don’t have any real connections is rough; but that can definitely remedy itself if you give it time and keep putting yourself out there, which is also tough to be fair. Hope things start looking up for you as you take a new approach to whatever you find is creating friction with you. Great video! Keep on talking!
Hey I made it to the end, been feeling many of the things you touched on lately. You're very articulate and honest with some very tough internal experiences, and I'm glad you could put them into words. It's helping me more than you know!
Hey, I watched the whole video, and I have to say, your mindfulness and vulnerability is really nice to see. I always appreciate seeing someone who is willing to open up and be more "human", for lack of a better word. I feel that struggle of trying to progress but it not seeming like a linear reward. Great video mate, keep it up.
I came here looking for a video to help my friend who deals with mentally dealing with the inconsistent highs and lows of fighting games. I realized quickly this wasn't the type of video I was looking for, but kept listening because it was so honest, personal, and kinda sweet. I made it to the end. Glad things have been working out better for you, mentally. 😌
Made it to the end. Ultimately I'm really glad I did because it was refreshing to see a Master rank on the internet talk about healthy mindsets in and out of the game. As a diamond player who has sf6 as just one of many hobbies, my progress is very slow but steady and hearing your experience made me feel like that's validated as something I need for myself. I don't have to TELL myself to feel like playing more frequently if I'm not feeling it; that's what I took away from hearing your experience. Thanks for sharing!
Hey man i have had the same problem of avoidance for years and now learned to live with it, it's hard like for every 1 step forward i take it feels like 2~3 steps back but the thing i tell myself is that whatever the outcome i keep moving, and you know what i'm proud of that and i think you should be proud too, this life thing isn't easy but we do what we can with what we're given, and hey sometimes it's fun, anyways i kinda lost myself in my thoughts, just know that some people like me enjoy and find some comfort in those videos. Keep being you.
Dunno why the algo pushed this one to the front for me but that was a good rant. The process of separating the concept of "Me" from the moment-to-moment and day-to-day feelings and thoughts that go through my head, that's something I have to work on all the time. And it definitely affects how well I'm playing and how fast I learn, on top of like, everything else in life. It feels good to look back sometimes, and see progress you never thought you could have made.
Made it to the end, and this video really hits close to home. I share a lot of the same problems, and it really boosts my confidence knowing I'm not alone. Thanks for sharing
I like your commentary. You are a very honest person. I like, that you can impress your feelings and doubts in words. I still wanna learn more stuff about street fighter from you, cuz i can listen to you
This is a great video. I relate a lot because this year, I wanted to get out of my comfort zone more and I sort of did that. I got into Strive because my friends play and its been giving us more of an excuse to get together again. I want to get better at a bunch of stuff and it can be frustrating jumping back in and not getting instant results but I often forget that jumping back in IS the result. I'm doing my hobbies again and I wasn't only a few weeks ago. That's worth celebrating at least. Best of luck improving and I hope you can get fulfillment from youtube as well
I watched til' the end, not a lot to say, but I feel you on the struggle of doing anything in public after a long time of isolation. I've been going through a similar experience of trying to get over that. Also I do enjoy the chill format of just speaking your mind into a video, so I do look forward to seeing more from you!
You just made me wanna sit down and listen to you, it just felt relatable, its not something everyone can do for their audience. Hope you understand that.
Nice vid man, and the important thing is do things that make you happy, some ppl may stop watching vids but there's also new ppl who'll come to watch it, idk how you guys keep it up to 1500 MR, I played with Cammy and just this past week went back to 1300 MR 🙃 rn I'm doing big changes, switched to square gate and learning Chun lol
When Zangief does Lariat on block, you can do DI and it punishes 100%. You can also try to DI the charged HP on reaction or PP. (might as well make the comment useful, besides the algorithm boost)
I watched all the way thru, you doin your thing, your content is unique, i dont need other "top 5 things to know" videos in my watch later that im not gonna get to lol I just hit diamond and that was my goal when i first got the game, now im lookin to see what my ceiling is
Haven't watched all of the video quite yet, but im happy to see you really be back. Back in the late stages of the SFV content you really helped me get better at mental aspects, hope that things improve for you too homie ❤ Edit: ik the feeling of being frustrated with how progress can be slow sometimes, but i think you'll figure it out
Nice improvement. I’ve been playing street fighter competitively for years and I’m still stuck at 1600. Hoping I can figure out what the sauce is for me to reach 1700 like you.
Never heard of your channel, but congrats on so many subscribers, views & thumbups. (I'm a small channel) 🙂 I watched the whole vid (no sound/close caption) & thumb upped. 😉 Impressive rank. Interesting w/nonlinear progress. Progress fror me since SF2 in games varies. I don't get to play as often as I want. Currently silver, but may get higher by the end of this game. Fun vid.
I think people need to go back on the idea TH-cam is Fun,and certain things are for Fun.( The sentiment is easier to digest than it is to carry out.) I think what made older TH-cam, and games fun is the fact nobody expected anything, and it was for fun, innovation, and pushing the boundaries to see what's possible even with aspects. Made it this far, getting good at fighting games can be so beautiful but so crushing. Take care my friend :)

The "not trying to control my emotions anymore" part spoke to me.
....also, is that New Light? in the background?

Watched it to the end. The fact that you're not playing the retention game is part of the appeal of the channel, to me =)

Made it to the mark. I'm always a fan of these videos. Helps me when I'm feeling stuck in my thoughts about the game.
Made it to the end, that 1500 to 1800 guide sounds nice all I do is bounce around aimlessly between 1450 and 1600

Absolutely GOATED video love that you're making progress
This sorta honesty is so real, thank you man.
i watched the full video and it was super enjoyable :)
I made it to the end, honestly I'm going through something similar myself, so this video came at the perfect time for me

i just found ur channel but i rlly like ur vids and ur commentary and editing is very good. Hope you keep making vids like this
Made it to the end great video man

To me, and im sure to many others, you’re definitely the philosophical reflections from fighting games-guy, not the stick-guy.
I made it that far. This was a nice listen while I was cooking breakfast this morning.
Made it to the end bro
I watched all the way thru, you doin your thing, your content is unique, i dont need other "top 5 things to know" videos in my watch later that im not gonna get to lol
I just hit diamond and that was my goal when i first got the game, now im lookin to see what my ceiling is
First vid of yours I watched, good stuff
Haven't watched all of the video quite yet, but im happy to see you really be back. Back in the late stages of the SFV content you really helped me get better at mental aspects, hope that things improve for you too homie ❤
Edit: ik the feeling of being frustrated with how progress can be slow sometimes, but i think you'll figure it out
Made it to the end and I will say I mostly watch your videos that are like this so you’re definitely not just the “stick guy” 😂
1500 to 1800 MR video would be cool :D
I finished the video, im glad that i stayed and listened 😊
Nice improvement. I’ve been playing street fighter competitively for years and I’m still stuck at 1600. Hoping I can figure out what the sauce is for me to reach 1700 like you.
I made it to the end qnd a guide about how you got to 1700s may be fine but if you want to wait until 1800s thats ok as well, I hope you make it soon.
End of video comment. Appreciate the commentary on these subjects.
Never heard of your channel, but congrats on so many subscribers, views & thumbups. (I'm a small channel) 🙂
I watched the whole vid (no sound/close caption) & thumb upped. 😉
Impressive rank. Interesting w/nonlinear progress.

Question! Since SF6 came out how many hours have you racked up in it? 🤔
is that john mayer in the background?

I finished the vid
Uhhh good stuff
Even if asking for me to comment isnt engagement bait i still want to give youe engagement
TH-cam algo sent me here
First, and I'm glad you're back.
I finished the whole video
Real talk though about like hyper analyzing your gameplay and messing things up. As a Chun main, I feel like it's way easier to do that with her. Recently I was like "I need to optimize 6HK punishes" and then lost 200mr in a week. I never feel like I don't know what "the gameplan" is with Cammy, but it's easy to lose that focus with Chun.
Listened to the video while showering for some reason. Enjoyed it though. 👍🏾
Keep being yourself bro. Your people are trying to find you. They are coming.
I'd watch some ranked videos.
Comment for the algo, let's go
progress is exponential lil bro ur just at the curve or whatever
Always glad when you upload and always make it to the end 🫡
