Pretty nice car bro. I'm currently looking for one in 1/18 myself. But it looks nice in 1/24 as well. The small paint touches you did really help to show texture and depth to the car. Great work.😁

I enjoyed your review on this Maisto Lamborghini Diablo, Imperial Diecast. I used to have the same model in yellow. You are also a genius in doing a fix with a foam on the front camber. I remember having that problem and displayed my model with the front wheels having a bent pose. If I knew about your fix years earlier, I would have used your fix!

    Ein Klassiker :)
Nur die Reifengröße sieht irgendwie zu klein aus, zumindest vorne, hmm. Viele Grüße Georg

I have discovered your review videos very recently, and honestly they're among the best I've seen on this subject. Very detailed and incisive, congrats!
I have two comments about this particular model (I have one from Bburago, which I find just as good as Maisto's):
First, the tiny inscriptions near the rear wheel arches should read "disegno Marcello Gandini", who was the real car's designer - not Pininfarina.
Secondly, the two small, rectangular rear lights are of different colours because the right one was the reverse shift indicator (white) and the left one was the rear fog light (red).
Cheers, keep up the great job!

@@ImperialDiecast Of course I had already watched your review on the Countach - and, because of it, I´ve ordered one myself from eBay! Thanks for that, too!

Oh, watching this old Maisto and Bburago models, makes me feel nostalgic, I grew up admiring and playing with them as I'm also from the 90's and a fan of diecast collectibles, and by that time they were one of the best options available next to just a few other manufacturers like Yatming, specially when it comes to decent affordable scale replicas.
I'm still prefering them time ago when they were made by their original assembly countries such as Thailand for Maisto and Italy for Bburago.
If I'm not wrong, the difference in the rear retroverce lights is due to the country specs, so this model is probably for Europe specs, as they just use the right light for retroverce and the left one as a fog indicator.
Cool review as the EB110, This are definitely icons of the 1990's super car world.
I invite you to visit my channel, that I have just started, they're not reviews (too shy to speak yet...), but I make pic clips of my stock models and others that I customized a little bit.
    Kind regards

Not bad taking into account that the detail quality of Maisto models (specially in mechanical elements) has worsened since then.

yup. bburago too. these days you can only open the doors on most of them.

which Diablo is the best in all aspects, Maisto or Welly? do you have any suggestions?

  • @thetransporter9344

Guys I have kinsmart models. Are they also good collectibles like Welly, RMZ City, Maisto and Burago??

    • @ImperialDiecast
      @ImperialDiecast  5 ปีที่แล้ว

Hi there, yes, they definitely are! I have reviewed several Kinsmart cars, you'll find their playlist on my channel. I think they have a good amount of exterior detail and definitely beat the world famous 1/64 Hot Wheels cars in this aspect.
