I live in Texas and in the Texas schools they are teaching kids that guns are bad and something to be avoided like the plague. Me and my sister have the challenge of changing the frame of mind of my younger siblings that guns are great and are perfectly safe if handled correctly.

Thank god at my school we have conservative teachers and students. We talk about politics at school sometimes even though we're not supposed to. Most of my teachers are gun owners, and most of the students parents own guns. We go hunting and shooting on the weekends. We understand guns. People in the city are so scared of guns, yet most have never even seen a gun in real life. It is sad that children in america are being taught that guns are bad.

i'm not an american...i was born and raised in canada and am proud of it...but at the same time i salute responsible american gun owners and their passion for their right to bear arms and to protect themselves and their loved ones...freedom and liberty isin't a polite suggestion, it's everyone's right...a right that everyone, not just americans, but every man woman and child should have...and should fight to preserve. those who stand by and do nothing change nothing.

more painful than sawing your arm off with a butter knife for the fun stuff at least...hunting rifles and shotguns can be bough anywhere just about so long as you have a permit. pistols and "tactical" rifles are a diffrent story. basicly same deal as california execpt it takes longer and costs alot of money

At 4:44 you hit the nail on the head, "they made this an example". For those who are younger, this was at a time when anti-government groups were gaining ground and attention as they are doing now. Just like Ruby Ridge, the ambush in WACO was a warning to gun owners/anti govt everywhere. Also look at the patterns of "terrorist" when the govt goes after people as an excuse. In the 90s it was "militants" 2000s it was "al qada" now 2010 its patriots/gun owners/christians/ just about anybody. Point being is dont trust Uncle Sam.

I only have four things to say to make my point
George Washington- The very atmosphere of firearms anywhere and everywhere restrains evil interference - they deserve a place of honor with all that's good.
Samuel Adams- The Constitution shall never be construed... to prevent the people of the United States who are peaceable citizens from keeping their own arms
Benjamin Franklin- Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote.
George Washington-If we desire to avoid insult, we must be able to repel it; if we desire to secure peace, one of the most powerful instruments of our rising prosperity, it must be known, that we are at all times ready for War.
some of my favorite quotes hope the point gets thrue to any and all who wish to attempt to disarm me or any other citizen of this nation whom has committed no crime to deserve the punishment of disarmament in my eyes

So what April 19th is some special date lmao Kiri Jewell testified in the Congressional hearings on Waco in 1995 that beginning from when she was ten years old, Koresh forced her to perform sexual acts. Even if that isn't true, his House of David doctrine based on a purported revelation involved the reproduction of 24 children by chosen women in the community. These 24 children were to serve as the ruling elders over the millennium after the return of Christ. That doesn't sound Christian. Are you guys really defending people who believe in such a thing? Wow! Makes you sound like what the left calls cultists or seperatists. You are making even people who own guns bad.

    • @johnnybloggs2494
      @johnnybloggs2494 9 ปีที่แล้ว

Sketchy Govts always mess up things. But there wld be nothing to mess up had there been no group holed up there with kids. These guys say they are constitutionalists- but thats a dead thing. Plenty of things that weren't in the constitution have been going on for generations. You think the founding fathers wld've congratulated Stanley Ann Dunham (& millions of white girls like her) for marrying a Kenyan & having Obama?! lol Being a Constitutionalist is like Stanley Armour Dunham being against interracial marriage. All anyone could say to him is -You are way too late mate. Your daughter has hopped on to that train a long time ago. And she's decided to stay on it. Similarly the US dumped the constitution a long time ago in practice. Well on its way to a multicultural multiracial socialist state lefty in its politics n brown in its skin. Kinda like Brazil. Just the way it seems with the facts & statistics we see everyday.

So let's clear this up. The ATF said they suspected the Branch Davidians of converting semi-auto weapons to automatic. The ATF went in to serve a warrant, and the response of the Branch Davidians was to arm and then fire on them with one of the 300+ guns they stockpiled to form their own personal "Army of God," including some of which had been converted to automatic. And it was found they had kits and parts for full auto conversions, 100-round magazines, as well as almost 2 million rounds of ammo, grenade launcher parts, grenades, and two .50 cal rifles.
Heck, on the last day of it, the Davidians were even warned that some tanks were going to come in. They tossed their phone out and started spreading white gas around the compound.
Could things have gone better? Yeah. The Branch Davidians could have not fired on law enforcement. Heck, people nowadays are quick to blame a black guy for having gotten shot by cops while holding a toy gun in a store, but apparently it's ok for the Branch Davidians to do it. After all, it's not like they declared they were forming an Army of God and stockpiling weapons explicitly to start shooting anyone who wasn't a member of their cult. Oh wait, they did. Which is exactly the sort of thing we hate about ISIS, but not when it's conservative Christians.
I know a lot of conservative Christian folks in the U.S. want to see this as different, but I'm not conservative. I'm not Christian. And I get to put up with my neighbors, who don't know those things about me, openly threatening to shoot people like me to make the country a better place. Then I go on here and get to hear about people being idolized who would have put a bullet in my head if they got their way. I don't worship law enforcement. I don't blindly trust the government. However, I'm sure as hell not going to pull an illegal firearm and open fire on someone serving a search warrant for that same illegal firearm, nor would I expect to be glorified posthumously for doing so.

So what office of the ATF do you work at? You really think you can come on to a site like this, spew wild disproven disinformation, and everyone is just going to change their minds? Why yes Ypurias We see the light now. Guberment good, tell much truth, must listen and obey.
Me thinks you got your own paranoia streak a mile wide and may want to consider starting your own compound so you can get away from those evil Christians who mostly don't give a crap about you or your ideas.

First of all.. The BATF told the media about the raid the day before, they wanted to show the press that if you try to horde guns this is what will happen to you. Lets imagine for just a second that the BATF DID shoot the first shot. (Which it is obvious from the front door of Mt. Carmel.) Then the Branch Davidians had EVERY right to shoot back. Not to mention it is very debateable that the BATF agents were even killed by Davidians. There is a video of a helicopter spaying bullets into the room that all the agents died in. They were defending themselves and got burned alive for it....

Ypurius, wrong on nearly all counts. The raid was planned as a "big show"(ATF's words) to retain funding for the BATF with a pending Congressional budget review on the horizon. Absolutely no evidence was ever found of parts kits to covert rifles to full auto. Rather than a soft approach of attempting to serve a warrant, they conducted an all out assault. Most witnesses point out that ATF fired the first shots (likely a negligent discharge). They lied about the existence of a meth lab in order to suspend Posse Comitatus and involve the US Army. Numerous sources support these facts. Do some real research. Interesting fact: FBI sniper Lon Horiuchi (who murdered Vicki Weaver at Ruby Ridge 7 months earlier) was deployed at Waco. Witnesses from another sniper team claim to have seen his team shooting into the compound at one point. I'm not a conspiracy nut. I am all for supporting LE and the military (just retired after 35 years service in the army). However, Waco stinks.

Shot at him with his hands up (shown in slow mo vid, until they hit the glass of the truck. Then they finally hit him as he drew fire away. I am not "Ruled" by five men in black robes (yes, I know there are nine). The Imperial Federal Government was born by the sovereign free states of America, not the other way around. These rights are unalienable, they can not be taken away, because they were not given by anyone but our own creator.

rocdarjar gm So what you are saying is: Let any Murderer or Childmolester get Guns because it is there right by God? o_O Please tell me that you are not an actual Gun owner because you make all of us look very bad. I say the State has any right to take your freedom and some rights away if you would prove as a danger to other peoples lives and rights. That is just normal logic.

Who is the "State"? Who decides? What are the "rules"? Does any politician have a say because they oppose your ideology? You create a very gray cloud with your own thinking.
