Hmm, I’m pretty new to my Blackfoot 130 but it seems like you are doing it the hard way in regards to folding and stowing. I followed the manufacturer’s suggested method (TH-cam) and it was very easy to stow including placing it in the bag WITH THE CHAIR. Plus I kept all my Scotty mounts in place. And I mean easy, I had no issues with zipping or having to stuff in corners or protruding parts.
Note: the bags length is the same as the boats width without air. Just purge the air, roll it up tight and place in the bag. The use of a strap or rope to keep it tight and under control makes it even easier.
Yes, good advice, it’s an important task to sponge or towel out the moisture then air dry - pretty straight forward to do.

After watching your video we unpacked our 160 from the bag it was in after using it on the lake yesterday. We've used it about 6 times and never took the floor out or dried it as well as you talked about. We removed the floor and there was the start of mold in several areas! Hopefully we got to it in time before real damage occured. Thanks for the video!!
Many kayaks are ruined over time because of being dry rotted. It’s a pain to pull the floor out every time, but it extends the life to like forever. Lol. Thank You for watching!
Another option that would work well for the mounting plates, and one I use on my inflatable paddle board, are the YakAttack Switch plates. They screw in just like Scotty mounts but let you use rail mounted devices. They also have rounded edges and are lower profile, making rolling up your inflatable without removing the mounts a lot easier.

Great videos. Can’t wait for mine to arrive this week. But man you made me go crazy looking for “molly mounts”. The molle plates are the loops up front on either side. The plastic things are universal mounts.

You can not dry rot a materisl that does not absorb water.

Can’t you just flip it over and then let it drip out?
It won’t drain because of how big the Tubs are on both sides of the Kayak, they hold water like a pool.
those are not molly mounts, the molly is the webbing on the sides
Awesome video, some really good tips on how to look after your kayak. It would be great if aquaglide gave more tips on their products.
One question I had for you is that I have the chelan 155 and the aquaglide instructions for folding appear to be the same as the Blackfoot, in that you fold the sides in before folding lengthwise. I have found that the chelan 155 will fit into the bag if I just fold it length ways without folding it in first, so much easier I have found with the chelan. Will the Blackfoot do that? Or is it too big for the bag folded that way.
