Trust me they are definitely still a complete band. Their current drummer Brooks Wackerman has been with the band for over 7 years now and he is absolutely amazing! Once you start reacting to their newer songs you will love them just as much if not more.

@@Philipp.of.Swabia they always experiment different sound, even with Matt's voice. He ruined (hurt) his vocals badly in 2018 'cause of the non-stop touring for 2 years straight, which makes sense for the type of songs they've been performing caused some extreme fatigue to his vocals with no proper vocal rest.

Roman Sky live at the grammy museum is simply perfection! It’s truly one of the best live songs they’ve ever done, and since you already did So Far Away I think this would be the best substitute.

this is one that they could never do better live than studio, Scream's studio version just has absolutely insane vocals, one of M. Shadow's masterpieces, there is no way to do it better and no one can ever cover the studio version and not be embarrassed

For context Matt said he said this was a sing he wanted to be played at clubs and that girls can dance to (hence the dancers) I recommend watching making of avenged sevenfold self titled it’s 1 hour and 16 minutes I think. But you could break it down into multiple videos
This album is just so good.
Honestly I still love the album but for me it’s not even too 3, can’t put it ahead of COE/WTF/Nightmare, still very much enjoy most of the album. If you’re actually just talking about the live in the lbc live album then I’m totally with you, one of my favorite live shows ever.

The music and vibe of song are great. To me this is 1 of my Least favorite ASF/Avenged Sevenfold. Do anything off Nighmare album. Or The Stage Deluxe Edition. And yes the deluxe is way better has an entire album of songs they cut to make it a single cd. But decided to do deluxe with additional songs+2 covers. Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here. And Del Shannon Runaway! Great song almost perfect vocal match! Just heavier version.

Avenged are doing just fine with the current drummer, Brooks.
Honestly I love Jimmy and he was a stellar composer/songwriter and musician as a whole but the stage has the best drums of any A7X album and Brooks absolutely fuckin rules, top tier drummer. I bet Jimmy himself would love the drums on that record especially because he was a fan of brooks when he was alive
