@@klankenkabaal You can but its awkard, its how i sample from youtube, thou its not intuitive and you need soundflower. The quality does drop thou which is why i asked how it compares. I don't sample sounds just vocals so the loss isnt too bad for me
how does it compare to Audacity?
It’s quite different, I don’t think you can record system audio in Audacity

Ok, I see. The quality of Audiohijack is good, it doesn’t drop or anything
Blackhole does the audio hijacking for free. Then use anything to record, eg GarageBand, audacity etc Works on Mac.
