I dont think so hindi lang sa pinas kundi buong mundo nakapag tatayo ng bahay nila kahit walang professionals in reality those who have their means can only afford them. Yes stressful at may mga palpak pero it doesnt mean na di na afford ng tao mag patayo ng bahay nila napakarami ng skilled worker pag dating sa construction wala man silang degree pero nagagawa nila ng maayos work nila di man lahat pero mas marami ang marunong and take note nasa tech era na tayo madali narin malaman tru internet mga details ultimo quantity or size sukat na agad nasa nag papagawa nlang yan kung mag rerely lang sila sa nagawa at walang idea sa pinapagawa so kung don kayo sa pangalawa better kumuha nga kayo ng professional.
in other words young building na sinasabi mo is an illegal structure.
Kasi required kasi na may professionals kasi may building code at may batas.
Pag kayo lang gumawa, ok lang if pasok sa minimum area and building cost required sa isang municipality.
meron silang sariling laws and building codes. Iba iba kasi building code sa ibat ibang lugar kasi mag kakaiba ang setting ng place,from climate,geography,politics ,social ,economic and even religion.
kung may mga gamit sila baka small houses lang yun,a cabin,pod,shotgun house,skinny house or a tiny house.
at baka pasok sa codes nila or batas ng isang bansa.
pero if sa pilipinas,pag lumampas na sa required ng building code ibig sabihin required na ng professionals.

Idk bakit ang perception ng tao about sa engineers and architects ay mortal enemies. I mean, look at Engr. Young and Arch. Austria, they are the living proofs that these two professions can work hand on hand, too!

In the fields. That mindset is very visible. Specially some engineers are doing the work supposedly for architects para mapakyaw ang project. That is where the "rivalry" enters. Hopefully you became one of the "allies" when you make it to the field.
Also to add, mraming ksing instances na sinasign ng CE ung Architectural plan which supposedly for Architects 😊
Yung pride din, yung mga ibang CE feeling architect din.

Pati sa releasing officer nalang, babayaran mo pa para lang irelease na nya yung permit Lalo if Big Developer ka. Fire Department Also in my City kahit ok na, dipa rin i rerelease unless dmo binibigay hinihingi nila. Sometimes, ung mga mali, pababayaran nalang nila. Kaya delikado din. Eh syempre yung contractor or developer naman nagmamadali makakuha nang building permit kaya go nalang din.

I’ve been working for almost 6 years now as a Structural Engineer pero ang dami ko pa ring natutunan sa inyo gawa ng naka base lang ako sa office.
