That 20% limit for the minimum charge level should give the battery a much longer useful life. I wonder whether they also limit the max capacity to about 80% charge level, which should further lengthen the battery lifespan.

I had the privilege of working at a prestigious chevy and Cadillac dealership. Had the pleasure of driving pretty much everything. Out of all three vettes available, the E-ray was the nicest. It beats the ZO6 in the quarter mile ( maybe not on the track ) and is ALOT smoother. This is the Grand Tourer of Corvette's. Beautiful blend of speed and posh.

If there is something that should be growing more then all electric, its Hybrid, not only does it help with gas mileage and/or speed depending on the gas engine, but you don't have too worry about plugging it in for some of the hybrid engines.
At 1st I wasn't sure if I'd like it but I'm not mad at all now that's exactly what they should have done is keep the same powerful VA but just add an electric motor for the front wheels and that car is going to be a beast on the streets

The 20% is actually a good idea for lithium battery longevity. My 2016 Samsung laptop has this feature and it never charges to 100 but shutdown below 20. 5-6hr battery life after all these years
