I got this DVD for either my birthday or Christmas (I don't remember which) as a kid, I watched it all of the time, & while most Seasons & Episodes have been uploaded onto streaming I still have the DVD & watch it sometimes for the nostalgia.
I have this!! Found it in a second hand shop for about £1.50. It's great to see the progression of the show. Even though these episodes are available to watch on TH-cam now, I still love to watch them ad free.
That DVD was essential childhood for me. I grew up with the movies on DVD and VHS and a Dino Thunder DVD but the ultimate Rangers DVD is the absolute tits
I started watch Este during covid when I was 12 cuz I was really big into power rangers. Almost 5 whole years later I'm 17 and still watch every video. E squad 4Life ❤
This was a major favorite in my house. I'm finally going back and watching full seasons (Time Force, Lightspeed, and Zeo so far) but this dvd will always be an important note
I think they should’ve just swapped out the Lightspeed/Lost Galaxy crossover for the Time Force/Lightspeed crossover, not only would it have been a better choice overall, it would’ve caused the DVD to have shown every previous Red Ranger that appears in Forever Red besides the red alien Ranger since Tommy and Jason appear in the MMPR episode, TJ and Andros in the In Space, Leo in the In Space/Lost Galaxy crossover, and then it would’ve shown Carter, Wes, AND Eric had it used the Time Force/Lightspeed crossover. I presume the reasoning they insisted on using mostly crossover episodes for this collection is to showcase as many rangers as possible while using the least disc space
I feel like having an episode or two-parter per series would have worked better, but a personal thing for me is only one team-up, Forever Red, but even then, I'd make it an advertised "bonus" episode to go along with a regular Wild Force episode, since all the team-ups be its own DVD. Plus there's deciding which MMPR episodes to include from each season, that and do you include an episode of Alien Rangers to acknowledge them too. Though for Season 1, I'd maybe go with The Green Candle two-parter since it can somewhat flow into White Light if you ignore the story that happened in-between.
I used to own this DVD back in the day I would watch it almost every weekend but then when I got older, I gave it to a special needs class they loved it they watched it all month long
Reason why Mike wasnt in the Lost Galaxy and Lightspeed Rescue crossover was because Mike sacrificed Torozord and his powers to allow Terra Venture and The Megaship to escape the Lost Galaxy
This wasn't my introduction to power rangers but it definitely cemented my random and it was my introduction to Tommy as the white ranger this was the most watched DVD I ever owned I watched it till wouldn't even start up anymore from the layers of scratches on it even when I now collected all the Shout Factory seasons I still bought a new copy 😁
“The Ultimate Rangers” DVD, lowkey holds a special place, cause I was in the hospital when I was like 4 and my mom rented it for me & ever since then I loved Power Rangers even more And the first MMPR episode to me was “White Light” , rip JDF🤍
I would do Dimensions In Danger Legendary Battle (just cause you get every team in it) Reflection Part 1 and 2 A Friend In Need (for crossover with Kamen Rider) The Power Of Pink (one of the deepest power rangers episode)
If I could make a bluray list of episodes Mine would be every cross over/past ranger cross overs featuring Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (Season 3) “A Friend in Need” (Parts 1-3): Crossover with Masked Rider. Power Rangers Turbo “Shadow Rangers”: Features Divatox’s use of Beetleborgs costumes (not a direct crossover). Power Rangers in Space “Shell Shocked”: Crossover with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation. Power Rangers Lost Galaxy “To the Tenth Power”: Team-up with the Power Rangers in Space team. “The Power of Pink”: A continuation featuring the return of Kendrix (Lost Galaxy Pink) and Karone (Astronema). Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue “Trakeena’s Revenge” (Parts 1-2): Crossover with Power Rangers Lost Galaxy. Power Rangers Time Force “Time for Lightspeed”: Crossover with Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue. Power Rangers Wild Force “Reinforcements from the Future” (Parts 1-2): Crossover with Power Rangers Time Force. “Forever Red”: Features Red Rangers from all previous seasons teaming up. Power Rangers Dino Thunder “Legacy of Power”: Recap of Power Rangers history. “Thunder Storm” (Parts 1-2): Crossover with Power Rangers Ninja Storm. Power Rangers S.P.D. “History”: Crossover with Power Rangers Dino Thunder. “Wormhole”: Another team-up with Dino Thunder Rangers. Power Rangers Operation Overdrive “Once a Ranger” (Parts 1-2): Features veteran Rangers from MMPR, Ninja Storm, Dino Thunder, SPD, and Mystic Force. Power Rangers Jungle Fury “Path of the Righteous” / “Now the Final Fury”: Though not a traditional crossover, these episodes feature retroactive ties to the lore of past Rangers. Power Rangers Samurai “Clash of the Red Rangers”: Crossover with Power Rangers RPM. Power Rangers Super Megaforce “Legendary Battle” (Extended Version): Features multiple past Rangers and teams. Power Rangers Ninja Steel “Dimensions in Danger”: Features Tommy Oliver and a large team of returning Rangers. Power Rangers Beast Morphers “Grid Connection”: Team-up with Dino Charge, Dino Thunder, and Jason Lee Scott (MMPR Red Ranger).
MMPR Black does return in In Space, Light Speed Blue is weird. Feels like they just wanted a black ranger on there. Maybe do MMPR Blue instead, but then what?
John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, he sent his one and only son so that whoever believes in him won't die, but have eternal life." Jesus does love you, and you can always turn to him and he'll take care of you during tough times, God bless yall, peace out ✝️🙏🏻
