Well, cry on doubles, the doubles 13 has a huge hole in the second most intense part where you're just doing some random steps every other measure which kinda breaks the chart's enjoyment as you're doing nothing for a little too long when the song is doing a lot. At least the singles is consistently hard so you have that.

At my arcade, if we define average as, "usually plays at least twice a week" there's a large subset (>40%) that probably have a non-zero chance of beating this. There was a guy grinding out Holic last night at my place when I dropped by (when I really shouldn't, since the flu got me hard) For everyone else, heck no.
These are rough charts. I'm not sure why the quality of twist-focused 18s varies from well-designed charts like The World Ends Now CSP to this. Hopefully the charters responsible show more restraint with high-speed twists in the future and find ways to incorporate hard patterns in a way that's more fun than grueling. The recent 1116 is a good example of a quality 18 (excl. maybe the footswitch brackets), so I know they have people on the current charting team capable of putting out well-designed content.
Why does Konami/Bemani so stubborn on those patterns and jump transitions? They already own ITG technically and the sole OFFICIAL 4 panel game. What’s preventing them from doing what Andamiro is doing (with Pump It UP incorporating/absorbing every single step/pattern styles for 5-panel) with their 4-panel. They can literally copy every patterns in older & modern ITG and mix with their own without repercussions since they basically have monopoly on 4-panel but refuses to do so. Fkin hell that’s why I’ve quit DDR singles for PIU, ITG singles, and pure doubles DDR for having less of these nonsense. There are certain good DDR songs and charts but playing DDR high level feels more like a chore than a game. Even Paradoxx D28 from PIU which is very difficult, with all the streams and bracketings, but the feet’s flow on patterns remain smooth. DDR always wants you to break patterns too much it removes the fun from the game. Particularly on this video. The patterns are overloaded with crossovers. There’s a right amount but this easily surpasses it. Again like a chore than a game. Paranoia Hades and Revolution has great and difficult crossovers but fun to play. That’s the difference. ---- Sorry everyone. Just letting this out from me.
