I cant imagine how terrifying it must've been to play this game at the time it came out. I'm playing it, and the atmosphere is amazing, the setting is intriguing and the monster while not scary imo (he looks cooler than scarier tbh) has managed to put me on edge a few times. Ofc graphics have aged and we've seen many horror games like this being released, but Hellnight still holds up if you get used to the oldschool ps1 era fps controls. The PS1 is home to so many hidden masterpieces, I wish I could ever play all of them tbh.
