Love, Honor and Respect to all the great Reggae and Dancehall Artists who pave the way for Reggae and Dancehall Music to reach it full potential. However, you are still missing some of the the most important artists. Black Uhuru, Inner Circle, Third World, Culture, Israel Vibration, Ken Booth, Delroy Wilson, Tenor Saw, Professor Nuts, Garnet Silk, Capleton, Jah Cure, Beenie Man, Bounty Killer, Mavado, Vybz Kartel and many more.
You forgot Joseph Hill culture bro
He forgot to mention a lot of really great artist
Good compilation,, the sequence is inconsistent,,,
I think this is just your opinion
Hello what about tabby and mighty diamonds
Where is mighty culture and nasio fountain?
That's your opinion. John holt, culture, delroy wilson, third world are just a few greater artistes that deserve respect.
Secondly, there has been no civil war in Jamaica. While there was violence, it was localized in just a few areas. I used to live in an area located between 2 violent communities. In our community we could still sleep with our doors open back then. Even now violence is mainly limited to specific areas.
Some of these are in the wrong order but we'll done for having a go.
Are they Mad Garnet Silk
Where is garnett silk?
Whatabout Black Slate, The Cimarons, Alton Ellis, Bity Mc.Lean, Eddy Grant, UB40.
I’m digging the past,
Johnny Clarke ❤
I really thought Garnett Smith aka granett silk, Morgan Heritage, Peter Tosh, Tenor Saw, and many other great artist would make this list, perhaps you need to make a top 100 best artist list, just saying 🙏🏿💯💪🏿
I put Dennis Brown second only to Bob, but fans of PT and Garnett Silk are going to challenge me on that. It's all about personal preference
Alton Ellis
John Holt
Sugar Minott
Joseph Hill
Mighty Diamonds
Leroy Sibbles
The Heptones
Joseph culture hill
❤Bob n Ziggy no1 to me😊
Nice. An impossible task of course.
Missing Alton Ellis Bob Andy Ken Booth black Uhuru culture half pint you need a top 50
Where’s GodFather Joseph hill of Culture 😮😮😮😮
Vaughn benjamims midnite??
Sean paul
Do some more research my friend,,, there are some foundation artists like ,, Delroy Wilson, Jacob, Ken Bothe,, foundation,,,, wheel and come again,,,
Where's Alton Ellis, and as you said, Ken Boothe? All these artists you mentioned winning Grammy's get these awards because reggae category is slim. They have to give these awards to someone.
This is your opinion !
This list is a joke. The GOAT is Joseph Hill.
O lip up fatty n stop uptown rankin
Hmm I just know you would put Bob first .SMH am not saying he wasn't a good singer but you guys are bias never seen the works of other great singers tosh will always be my no 1
Where is culture
Ridiculous and outrageous compilation ...why is Lucky Dube ahead of TOOTS AND THE MAYTALS ??
Lucky dube number two ? IT 'S a joke...respect jamaicans artists who shaped reggae music..Black uhuru(first reggae grammy awards) Third world,Max romeo, jacob miller and many others are better than him...
Oh wow........... So, how would you rank them if you were to recreate this video?
The list was good but I expected culture in the list and at top 4,and how could you possibly place sizla ahead of bunny wailer?
Where is Culture?
😅😅😅😅 " my lord stop it!!!! It's bob burning spear peter tosh dennis brown culture yabby you bunny wailer jr delgado
Reggea Artists to include Yellowman ?.Mr.Winston Yellowman Foster is the King of Dancehall .He is more a Dancehall Artiste than a Reggea Artist even as Dancehall is a son of Reggae .
This list is wrong!! Bunny Wailer should be ranked in the Top 5, not number 12. What about Culture, Black Uhuru, Israel Vibration or Third World?!
Stupid and unfair topics music is not a competition, know thy self.
I love Lucky Dube so much but he cannot be number 2. Tosh should rank higher than him and I think many Jamaican artists.
Anyway this is an IMPOSSIBLE task, listing the best by numbering because even Bob can be beaten on some lists. I would rank Tosh, Culture, Bob as number ones. I think while Bob is considered the GOAT , Tosh is the Ayatollah of Reggae and Culture is the Master. Raw talent and Lyrics, guitar work, Tosh is something else. Bob brought reggae to the mainstream with a more positive message. Tosh was melancholiac with tough poetic lyrics, listen to the song burial, stepping razor.
Well said sir.
He knows nothing about jamaica history. Your list off track so bad.
What a joke . Lucky Dube on number 2 . Get serious man .where is Joseph hill in all this . What a waste of time listening and watching this .
Good compilation,, the sequence is inconsistent,,,
Thank you! This is well noted.
