In this interview I ask Professor Serhii Plokhy, Harvard University, to discuss the historical roots of the current war between Russia and Ukraine.
This interview was recorded on Feb 24, 2022, the day that Russia attacked Ukraine.
The internet comes in and out at some moments, which is probably explained by the fact that missiles were landing in Kyiv.

Yes, sorry about that, we made the recording under difficult and rushed circumstances. I was in Kyiv during the recording, and we didn't have much time for technology checks, and the unreliable internet also degraded the quality at moments. But still, I hope the content provides some valuable insight into the current war.
