About your thoughts on the solver and where Liam got it from, the Solver idea started back in s3 of Design/fleshed out in Pondergames(a crossover/murder Game show of SSTWL biggest og stories). Though it's not exactly the same, in use anyways, but does give some interesting implications for AS in MD(especially with what we learn in pondersgame).

Same sort of rhyming thing goes with MDs and SSTWL (specifically left hands and Ponder vs Solver etc). And yes, he specializes in making you feel empathy for characters who have none. Oh, and there is the theory that the "true" Tessa actually died, and that the thing we see is an attempt at bringing her back to life (hence all the weird bits of stuff in her room, the chain, etc). But if it is anything like the last few times Liam has done this sort of plot, the boundary between original, copy, and/or parasite will be heavily blurred even for them.
They definitely do! I've only listened to the first 3 parts of Design, but I already see the similarities. It really does feel like Liam has been trying to tell the same story over the course of Design, Internecion Cube and Murder Drones. Hopefully since he's now go the backing of GLITCH he'll be able to finish MD and that it'll be more than 1 season. I know Liam is fully capable of making a multi season series. I love that he's able to do that too. YESSS I have multiple theories on Tessa, and they all have to do with her either not being human or not 100% human. I can't wait to see what Liam has planned for the season finale.
Idk if anyone else has said it yet but- J actually called Uzi a "barely sentient toaster" (first episode/pilot), so that's probably where the fanfics got the toaster thing from. :p 👍

From SSTWL, the design series in particular starts to show quite a few similarities, especially in seasons 2 and 3, although it seems less like a precursor than ideas Liam later expanded on. I would highly recommend looking into it, although it's like 16 hours worth of content.
Internecion Cube and Murder Drones have really cool parallels. I really don't think they're supposed to coexist in one setting, really, but together they form like, a rhyming couplet. Kirie and IC0N mirror the Solver, the Disassembly Drones, and Uzi all at once, but there's no 1-to-1 character equivalents. Some parts of Max's characterization map really well onto Uzi, other parts match N better, and some fit best with Tessa. It's like... I can see where a lot of these concepts came from, but also how they've evolved and changed into something new in the subsequent work.
Yeah, from what I've heard Liam said none of the series have any direct connection to one another, but I can definitely see each one has aspects inspired from the pervious. The most apparent being Design, Internecion Cube and Murder Drones, which is fine with me because they're my favorite out of Liam's work. Murder Drones being #1 for me lol.

So I think the girl was human in episode 2 at the time but because its a memory she's accessing now as a robot the scientists have some kinda safety on where they get scrubbed from the robots memories or something along those lines so it can't like hold a grudge against specific scientists ect

@@NarujenReacts Liam has mentioned before that they aren't canonically supposed to be the same universe, yet as a fan, I've crossed over both universes before, it works shockingly well since you can see the AS and cubes potentially coming from the same source, cousins in way? AS being an evolution of an IC? So in a fancreation the idea of a JC Jenson employee recklessly experimenting with a cube that was sealed away for a while, combining it with a DD body doesn't seem too crazy (especially as the lore deepened but had two ocs with this concept since the pilot)

Yea don't want to ramble too much about their lore but their basic concept came from a joke fusion I came up of Ic-0n and N, which turned into a pair of sibling bots that originated from the same cube (which was growing unstable due to the increasing conflict in personality) and now chill in their own bodies, which have a mix of Ic-0n's design and the DD design along with traits from both. One's more hyper and violent, yet is very child like (shes roughly 8-12 to me in development) and the other is mostly a intelligent sweetheart who replaced his vial and stinger for a screwdriver on his tail. But while he swore off violence after the *incident* he's very protective of his younger sister and likely would tear someone up to save her if needed.
