Great video! Do you know if you can restick the curio mats?

I feel sure you can using the same methods as with regular silh mats, but I haven't tried it because I always seem to cut mine up too badly before they run out of stick.

Thank you, fascinating. Mow, to find tutorials for the Curio. I am keen to emboss ..... bit intimdated by the process, I have to practice. I really enjoyed this explanation.

For true embossing, you have to use the curio paper, or you really can barely see the embossing. It doesnt have any more downward pressure than the other machines. There are several youtubes showing this. But you can use it to score lines, but with the blade not the embossing tool.

Check out Clever Someday's new video, Flat embossing with the Curio. She shows how to make really sharply detailed embossing.

It’s great to know a brainy crafter. somehow I feel most crafters shut their brains off and copy paste processes from others. Coz , any day the curio seems like a better choice than a cameo, but no one buys it coz they are scared that there’s no tuts for them to copy!

Can this process be used on the larger 8.5 x 12 inch Curio mats?

Yes. I don't have the specifics or a file to share because I only have the smaller platform, but the principles are the same.

    Can you make Cameo mats?

Yes, of course. Much easier than Curio mats because there are no holes to punch. Same basic steps, cut to size, draw the lines, mask off and apply adhesive. I'm sure there are at least several tutorials on this around.
