I'm currently reading Radio Silence and I'm liking it so far! 💗 the characters are definitely relatable and not to mention how many times the book made me tear up 🌞

Solitaire by Alice Oseman involves characters from Heartstopper, like Charlie (heartstopper is the kind of backstory and in solitaire you see nick and charlie as a couple) as it’s about Charlie’s sister, Tori! There’s little cameos and links from every oseman book to another, and I just finished Loveless (her fourth novel) which concerns a sexuality and university experience and it’s amazing 💖 The main Loveless character listens to the Radio Silence podcast!! I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on all of them knowing how much you enjoyed heartstopper 💙💙

I recently read Burn by Patrick Ness (I absolutely loved the Chaos Walking trilogy!), it was really good and also strange. It's multiple POV that leads to a singular point and it was crazy! One qualm I have though is that I wish it was a series.
So sad to hear of idols like Irene being hated for just being seen with Kim Jiyoungs book. Hopefully views start to slowly change for the better :/ You've made me super excited to read it! :)
damn, you really do your research and do such a great job explaining all the books you bought.... if i did a haul, it'd be like "i got this because the cover is nice, and also my bookshelf has too many books with black covers and i wanted a colorful one, and this color pains me the least" or "i got it because i need more books with black covers" the first book you rec'd (Kim Jiyoung, born 1982) is one of the books I've been wanting to read in both english and korean, just so i can absorb the full impact the book has made and thereby somehow validate my korean heritage more. but i completely forgot about the book after i read Mexican Gothic and then The Great Pretender, until just now; i'm gonna impulse buy it along with a bunch of other books and i'm probably going to cry at the expenses later, but you know what, it'll be okay hahaha
Hey if you like fantasy books that deals with wars, you should give The Poppy War by R.F Kuang. It’s a grim dark fantasy inspired by Sino japanese war and opium war and nianjing massacre!
Most of the books I've bought this year are classics. I think I'll be falling into the rabbit hole of reading the original and the retellings. I'm torn on when to read Anna K because there's a second book coming but I want to re-read the original first and I discovered another retelling where she's an android. I loved Get A Life, Chloe Brown. I'm waiting on the second book. I tend to prefer books where the focus isn't on the romance. I'm not sure if it was The library listing books as romantic suspense but I enjoyed reading Tami Hoag and Allison Brennan. There would be a romance but a serial killer on the loose would be the main focus. I haven't read either of them in a while. I want to read more Alice Oseman. The UK covers are adorable. I'm very excited about reading Loveless. I need more books with aroace characters. I'm fine with romance because most people are into it but when you aren't you can feel like a total alien so it's great that I've found the few books I have.
