I'd argue the obstruction of the path ahead of you is part of the challenge, especially in areas where the path repeats or has no pitfalls. Besides, I would imagine there'll be some alpha to the final ghosts to see through them.

If you will fix this bread on pillow overlapping texture animation and work a little more on singing ghosts on your UI, you will have a complete product. You can tell that the developers put a lot of effort to making the changes between the old and the new. Aside from Barnaby’s animations and expressions, they did a really good job with changing the layouts of the level.

I think the older version was incomplete. And was phase one which is to lip sync, make the song and the level and its obstacles while phase 2 which I the later one is to refine it and make it seem more alive
