    Oh, and true... like others saying here, THIS, your series of tutorials really works and NOT LONG WINDED at all. I must agree with them. This SIMPLY WORKS! THANK YOU AGAIN! - Andrew

    I've recently started doing this tutorial and can I say it is a godsend! You break things down and go through every step in a concise yet comprehensive way. Plus the amount of times I've been surprised by the little tricks/tips you've shown is crazy haha.

    Grant! You are truly an amazing trainer. I managed to follow all your videos of this series from Video 1 to this point and i will more than likely finish the whole series. And i must say a BIG thank you. You do not waste time, you jump straight to it, and you pause whenever you think we need to practise and that is truly CLASSIC! Love the way you teach, and infact, i love it so much, i might be checking out later if you provide paid short courses. I value your efforts and teaching and style that I want to support your works financially so that you can keep going and be the best in Blender trainings. With love and support from Malaysia - Andrew, Beyond Photography Channel

    I was so afraid to touch nodes and shaders until now. I’ve spent so much on courses to only feel discouraged and overwhelmed! Your process repetitive technique’s and different ways and challenging me to create things myself has led me to farther more experience than I could have ever thought imaginable as a beginner. Thank YOU!!!

    Dude I just gotta comment on every video as I progress!. I need to admit, just when I think I have gotten stuck (the monster arm) then grant explains why and how to. This guy is amazing! I have now completed my old man and my beast!. I wish there would be a site where we can share our progress! 🙏🏼

    i just started learning about 3d and blender at the 3.0 drop and man its interesting to see another side of the world as i come from music side of things....im highly interested in exploring the creative side of my brain visually i got to say atm doing the donut tutorial and doing this series of yours has been so helpful for me to wrap my head around things in the program! love the fact you always mention the hotkeys and what your doing in the moment i also started watching the 1st video on your sculpting playlist im amazed thanks for putting out these videos i have turned on notifications you also come highly recommended on reddit i can see why !

      Right? Same here: when Mr. Abbitt shows me how to manipulate edges in edit mode in objects with mirror modifiers without clipping, it's like me explaining to someone the difference between insert and aux FX (-busses) in my fav DAW and show how to use the right method for applying octave pitched reverbs on vocals (wouldn't really work with insert FX).
      I guess it's in the same field: mastering the tools, and/but in the end it's about creativity: you have all the plugins and edit techniques you can possibly think of but the essence is in the initial idea! But learning from the best is a shortcut that surely pways off!

    Hello, great tutorials...at 4:14 when I widen the streetlamp (part to light up), it is widening the parts "behind" the loop cut as well...can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

    • @Time_Immemorial_AI
      @Time_Immemorial_AI ปีที่แล้ว

      I created a new project, made the lamp post there which "scaled" fine, and then copy/pasted the man and monster from my old projectinto this new project...I did download a beta LTS version of Blender, maybe that was the cause? I reverted back to the current "live" version in Steam now.

    I have a question. with the old man's mirrored hands for example, if you wanted them both to be different colours (to show him wearing a purple glove on the right hand) can these hands be unlinked or would you create them seperately and unmirrored at the early stage? Cheers.

    Weird thing. when I try to rotate my monster through the transform panel and put 180 into Z axis it only twists my torso. If I do it manually with R button then it twists the whole monster. Is there a reason why I can't do it through the panel? Did this happen to anyone?
    I mean, I can rotate it so not really stuck, just wanted to know for future as it is more convienient in these instances to do it through the panel.
