Memories. I saw a goat being slaughtered when I was 18. My mom said, " The man is buthering because I am eating, so the real sinner is me and not the butcher." I have been a vegetarian since then. In America, I have a good life being vegetarian. I have no problems. My 2cents. 🙏
Some time a butcher just starts butchering in city where no one eats animals and after a long time the people of that city are eating animals so how a shop keeper makes you sell what he wants.So in every scenario your own interest and wisdom does matter 😊

If real Dharmic Purushas/ persons of great merit and morals limit themselves by a false sense of duty for standing to protect the Adharmic forces, then such people should be considered as Adharmic. Such people stand as hurdles for vanquishing Adharma.
According to Bhagavan Sri Krishna, such persons also needed to be brushed aside or eliminated. Such were the two great warriors Shri Bhishma and Shri Drona.
So Bhagavan Shri Krishna had no hesitation in getting them eliminated.
The Kauravas are defined as "Aatataayinah". Aatataayinah are those who commit 6 great sins and Kauravas had committed all of them including cheating , land grabbing etc.
But the chief among their sins is outraging or trying to outrage the modesty of a woman, that too a pious woman, Shri Draupadi Devi, in the court of the kingdom.
