American businesses import materials to build their product, but since all of those have tariffs too, the cost to produce things in America ends up being around the same price anyway. According to multiple economic studies, the only people who really suffer from tariffs are the average American people-- NOT China. However, both Harris and Trump will likely keep tariffs in place

It will also help companies like the now extinct SolarWorld, or it's late follow up SunWorks, who down the street from Intel, could not afford to make sell wafers cheap enough because it was still that much cheaper to have the same wafer shipped all the way from China. Making their material and product more expensive to us would require us to produce a competitive material or product locally. What we do see though, I agree, is people getting scared of the increased pricing pressure and begging for the government to undo it for the sake of convenience, rather than getting back to the grind and making better products and materials here.

Tax cuts don't increase the national debt, government spending does. Tax cuts hurt the governments ability to pay back debt. The government needs to stop spending. Then when taxes are collected, even with cuts, there will be more than enough to pay back the debt. It's a simple spend less, borrow less and pay back debt.

Tax cuts don't increase the national debt, government spending does. Tax cuts hurt the governments ability to pay back debt. The government needs to stop spending. Then when taxes are collected, even with cuts, there will be more than enough to pay back the debt. It's a simple spend less, borrow less and pay back debt.
