i love you bill you are the best drummer in rock history. everybody copies you me included but no one comes close. you look great and play great cant wait for the album! And sabbath without you is not the same. probaply i will never see you play live but those videos are my religion! can't you make a drum video where you talk your style and gear? it has not to be a big production just 15 minutes that would be so cool. all the best your loving fan!
You never lose swing. Bill was such an important part of making Sabbath groove, what with Oz's simple vocal lines that that often aped Tony's riffs and Geez playing all over the place. It was a different band with Vinnie's power bombast mating well with RJD's dramatic flourishes (although maybe not as well as with Cozy Powell in Rainbow, who was a more dynamic drummer.) Then I think Oz simply got used to straight ahead bashing Mike Bordin gave Sabbath songs during his solo work, it kept him from getting lost. But that is not Sabbath qua Sabbath. This band sounds pretty good, I like the bass player's voice and the guitarist is not over playing, but needs to get a little more outside. Bill's a jazz guy, he can handle it.
Jeff A. Taylor agreed the bass needs to be doing alot more of course Bill probably wrote this and if you'll notice or heard any of his solo work the bass isn't typically prominent
I'll never understand why Sabbath didn't get Bill Ward back in for the final tour but i guess you can blame Ozzy for that. Good to see he's still got it.
Let me explain you.. There were rumors about Ozzy telling Bill that he is too fat to play and any of this sort. No we don't know which one's actually true . It's revealed that Iommi wanted him to play and said really nice things to him but he still didn't know why the fuck he didn't play. It all was Ward's choice not to play and NO we can't blame Ozzy because yet we don't know what he said to him at all. God Bless You !
The powers that be tried to screw him on the contract and he was unwilling to compromise himself. Basically a case of the drummer being undervalued. I don't think it was directly the band so much as management etc and the band not stepping in/understanding that he was getting a raw deal.
Oh wow, Bill is back & kicking ass! Awesome to see Bill drumming again. The Ozzy (I mean Sharon) camp need to watch Bill's performance here...so much better than that clown Tommy they have touring with them.
This is the best Ive seen Bill look in a LONG time.
Bill Wards style is simply cool.
This is great, thanks for posting.
We've been waiting a long time to see Bill behind the kit again - and not a single Post-It note (TM) in sight!

I get the point of having originals and the original sound, but Tommy is in just about every way better than Bill on drums.
@@kare2much Tommy can't clean Bill's shoes!
ЗаебисЬ !

Bass Player is a good singer. On bass....not so much
No. This is really bad, I’m sorry.
