Hi Nancy! Thank you so much for your ideas too! That’s a great place for towels! I ended up using the top cubby for towels and the rest for toiletries. We are only part timers, but I find that the storage is so sufficient in this design. Thanks again for reaching out! Rhonda
I just found your channel and discovered that you are practically living our retirement plan! (we just have a few more years). The metal file folder that you affixed to your wall is absolute genius! I love living and working in an organized space, so you are talking my language, and so many people forget to utilize vertical space. I love how your rig looks - so pretty!
Chris, Your words encourage us more than you know. We set out on this retirement adventure to encourage and inspire others, but we find ourselves encouraged in return. There definitely is life beyond the workforce so hang in there. Part of the fun during the waiting is planning and preparing for the next chapter, whatever that may be. We are glad you found us and we would love to be a part of your adventures. Blessings, Rhonda and Stan
Regarding "keeping items where you use them while traveling". Remember, during an accident/sudden stop, all those loose items become missiles traveling at your RV's initial speed until brought to stop by something.....possibly the back of your head.
Well the key is to avoid the sudden stops or accidents. We pray for travel mercies before we travel. Over forty years of traveling not to mention 27 years of Law Enforcement. God has kept us safe. Thank you for your comment. Blessings, Stan and Rhonda
check the dollar store for the baskets instead of wallmart another idea is to get a labeler and label your baskets then you know exactly what is in each one and it saves you time looking for what you want.

Great ideas! Curious, and you may already videos but, what do you do with the corner cabinets in kitchen? How do you organize you bedroom closets, mine are tall and deep. Looks like you may have same ones
Leighona, Thank you so much for watching and for reaching out. In the kitchen cabinets over the window I have the shelf risers that go all the way into the corner. Underneath I keep refillable water bottles, blender bottles, blue ice and above I keep the plastic food storage containers. In our tall, deep closets on the side of the bed I use it for hanging our clothes and keep a small bin in the far back for extra sheets or clothing. Above the bed I have 4 bins that I bought at Wal-Mart that I love and it keeps jeans, shorts, workout clothes, etc. I hope this is helpful. Thanks again for being a part of this conversation on organizing our small spaces 😀 ~ Rhonda

Thank you, Rhonda! I just got back from a first short trip in my new 2500RL and now gotta sit down and think organization! Yup, paper towels first on the list. I like your find for a holder. Where do you put your coffeemaker on travel days? Mine's too tall to sit in a bottom drawer. I'm also thinking about a Command dish scrubber tray that sticks on the wall by the sink to get that off the counter. Or I could just leave it in the sink...
Linda, Congratulations on your new GD Imagine 2500rl!! We have had ours now for about 7 months and we are so happy with it!! The paper towel holder I installed is holding up and I’m super happy with it. Keeps the roll nice and snug. I actually picked up a trick on another TH-cam channel and I put a rubber grip liner under the coffee pot and leave it on the counter in the corner and it doesn’t move! I use to put it in the sink, but had to leave the cutting board off the top. I have a suction cup dish scrubber holder and it has worked great. It’s a fairly inexpensive plastic one, I put it up once on the far left back side of the sink and it has stayed since then. I love that we can share ideas like this and all learn from each other! Did you happen to watch my other storage ideas video? You might get a few more ideas from that one as well. Enjoy your new trailer and thank you for your contribution to our channel! Rhonda

Hello Alice, we keep all the shoes under the bed in the slide drawer. The ones we used for the day stay outside by the steps. We keep our indoor sandals by the bed. There is a good spot to keep the shoes next the theater seats. It’s kind of dead space unless you are opening the cubby. Blessings, Stan and Rhond

Great ideas, but I don't think it's a good idea to introduce intentional source of humidity in an RV. Also, when mounting things on an RV wall it's better to measure from another surface such as the counter or a cabinet instead of using a level. A level will only work if the trailer is leveled perfectly, before. But great ideas!
Hello Atomic Tabasco, Thanks for watching and reaching out! How funny, I had to go back and see which towels I had in the video. 🤪😂 I bought those several years ago at JCPenny.
