The copyright supposedly protects work against use by others without your permission. allows people to get money for their work... (hopefully they did so they can make more cute videos) And hopefully other people didn't steal the clip and monetize it...

Lilian Darmono Like other animals, some owls just like being pet. Normally when you see a bird tied up, it means it's wings are not clipped so it still has the full flying ability. It's just to make sure the owl doesn't fly away.

Most of these birds will never be able to fly properly again. They are in the sanctuary for a good reason. No self respecting sanctuary will keep birds that would be able to fend for themselves. Most birds that are there can't anymore.

Though technically they aren't considered "pets" (and you should not treat them like "pets"), they are still animals within your care. You build their enclosure, care for them, train them, and take them hunting. You'll learn from another falconer before you get your own General Falconer's license.

Yep. And that's a good thing too. You shouldn't keep an owl at home if you don't know what you're doing. They aren't like domesticated cats or dogs that are easy to care for. Owls are wild animals that require a whole lot of specialized knowledge and connections to feed, keep healthy and happy.
