    These parts are coming out of the same factories as the parts on AliExpress. The quality all depends on the vendor.

    • @theONEwatches713
      @theONEwatches713  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That’s a possibility. If so it’s convenient nonetheless not having to weed through the low quality AliExpress parts with minimal if any qc.

    I highly suspect that these alternative stores source from the same factories as Aliexpress sellers. There are high-quality options on AE too if you pay the same kind of money as you do for Namoki. Did you buy this kit for yourself or was it sent to you?

    • @theONEwatches713
      @theONEwatches713  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      That is possible but also not. I like that the parts are hand picked with more qc than what you’d get direct from aliexpress. I asked if they’d send me the kit and they were cool enough to say yes.

      @@eh86055yeah, i would praise any watch kit if i got it for free also. ;). Ae parts are great if you buy cases from Neiton, i really like their datejust style, great solid end links and overall good quality

    Using Namoki you pay for better QC but honestly, buying from Ali is cheaper and you get high quality most of time

      They are not selling nh38 movements in NamokiMods

    Thanks for the video! Nice watch, reminds me of the Citizen Tsuyosa. I have a comment and a question. My comment is that I wish Namoki offered the option of sterile dials, since I'd prefer to add my own logo. My question is, why did they elect to provide an NH35 instead of an NH38 for a no-date watch? Not a criticism, I was just wondering.

    • @theONEwatches713
      @theONEwatches713  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I also like sterile dials also but probably Namoki wanted some branding for marketing purposes. They likely purchased nh35 movements in bulk to save money and not have to deal with different movement options.

    I absolutely love watches, the high end watch brands are out of my budget but the AMZWATCH has literally an almost duplicate of every single watch on the market . Always a great but no matter your budget.

    Build your own watch is great.
    But I'm not using anyone who puts their own stamp on a watch I build..

  • @carsostudio8618
    @carsostudio8618 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    My problem with the kit is that even though they know what movement you have, you still have to take the extra feet off and even though the dial has no date, they still utilize the NH35 which only do you pay extra for, you also have more potential parts that break and more servicing to do. It is essentially just an overpriced kit that shows Namoki has no idea what it means to customize watches unfortunately.

    • @n.j.crawler
      @n.j.crawler หลายเดือนก่อน

      Who cares about saving a few bucks on a movement and having to bend a foot off? Takes a few seconds.

      @theONEwatches713  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Have you experienced Namoki in hand before? If you’re implying they are the same quality as any average part on aliexpress you are very wrong. Sure maybe these parts can be found on Ali but they will be the more expensive options and probably hard to find.

    Why would i want to find the date change when the dial has no date window?

    • @theONEwatches713
      @theONEwatches713  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      lol you make a solid point. Good to know what to do though if there is a date but for this build it didnt matter.

    • @peetiegonzalez1845
      @peetiegonzalez1845 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So you don't accidentally roll the time back through the date change period which could damage the movement. Well... usually it would damage the date function, but still...

    End result is paying more for something exactly the same from AliExpress.

      These parts might be sold on Ali but they would cost more and you’d have to filter through the very generic and lower quality parts to find ones at this level. It’s nice not like the average Ali parts which I’m familiar with.

    Did the stem come trimmed to size?

  • @Mate2Frio
    @Mate2Frio 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    with a no date dial there's not really reason to line up the hands at midnight is there? It's a "ghost date" movement. Not really desirable. A NH38 would have been better but cost a bit more.

    • @theONEwatches713
      @theONEwatches713  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I did it mainly to show people what to do if there is a date and a little bit ocd also lol.

  • @MrClassy1991

    quality on aliexpress can be even better than these you got, for the same price these ones are selling. clearly this is an advertisement for the company that sent you this, its cool but don't say its better than aliexpress when they are all made from the same factories.
    and by the way there are sellers that sell watch sets like the one you got, same quality but you can get 2 or 3 sets for the price this company is asking for. this is for the people who are scared to use aliexpress or similar sites, so they go through these companies that just brand better and tailor to the European market more. if you are reading this and wanting to get into diy custom watch making, never pay these crazy prices, go and source the parts your self, goof luck.

    Nice for pretending that you never heard about Namoki and had to make this video. You should just be honest and not try to tell a fake story. I wish I could give more thumbs down for you. I actually like Namoki, but I don't like your fake story lead in. :(

    I bought this popular video watch from MAMACOO , which was originally priced at a few thousand dollars, but now it's only $380! It's really suitable to pick up feces!
