Why was nothing said about the 112-112 judge while he’s sitting at ringside? He needs investigating this sports a shambles.

I've never heard of Benjamin Rodriguez and this is his first title fight he judged. Shouldn't even be reviewed, should never be allowed to judge a title fight again

1 10-10 round for a draw = 10 pts

Pretty easy if the the judge thinks he won pretty much all the other rounds

I don’t think the original post was being this literal… the point is how has that judge scored 8/9 rounds to Okolie when the middle of the fight he did nothing and when he came out firing at the end he got dropped x 2. Disgraceful judging.

Fans are a problem as well. Instead of being objective and fair, they’ll create narratives for how their favorite boxer won - or say it could have been 7-5 either way or a draw. As seen recently with Loma and Haney (which only had one winner).
These highlights are very flattering to Okolie. You could probably compile 5 mins of him constantly hugging and holding it was shocking to watch.
Hugkolie was the greatest hugging World Champion in professional boxing.

Love that okolie lost. Every fight I've ever seen him in is him grabbing and holding almost the entire fight, got what was coming to him, poetic that the last knockdown he was clinging onto Smith's leg. That judge who scored a draw though seriously wtaf.... How on earth was he not immediately questioned for this, that is as clear as you can get on a judge either being completely corrupt or completely and utterly clueless. It will go by without question because the right man won the fight but honestly he should never ever be allowed to judge again that is appalling

A great performance from Billam Smith, he is a highly skilled pressure fighter in my view and based on his past performances, a victory against Okolie was no surprise to me. Congrats to him and his camp.
I disagree honestly about smith. He tired out and his defense isn’t up to standard for the level of competition. He couldn’t find an answer for the right and you could see it in his eye. I think if Oak makes adjustments like head movement and using his jab more smith is in trouble. That said he definitely has the potential to be a threat, needs more skills tho.
What an unbelievable achievement for CBS and team - most of his ardent fans (like me) would have thought he would have done very good to be a British Champion, let alone this. Okolie class in defeat but he's really lucky he didn't have more than 2 points taken off.

Was never going to be a great fight to watch knowing what okolie is like. I feel like he's blagged his way to where he is today. Me personally I’d consider Billam smith as probably one of the best in the world in the division. Maybe not the best, but defo up there.
He had to fight a man with all the range and height, as well as all the clinching. And still came away with the win. Okolie of course isn’t the best in the division but styles make fights and this fight made it hard to showcase some of Billams best skills. Even though we did catch a few glimpses.

Okolie was down in the 4th, 10th and 11th, was deducted points in the 5th and the 7th. For anyone not good at maths that judge needed to give Okolie 10s in rounds 1,2,3,5,6,7,8,9 and 12 for 112 to even be possible for Okolie.

Typical British home cooking. Okolie was the aggressor the entire fight. Two slips scored as knockdowns were the decider. The Sauce is rightfully pursuing the rematch to get back what he deserves.
